Setback Action Series Jack Plate

Bob’s Machine Shop’s new hydraulic jack plate line, “Action Series Jack Plate™”, offers new technology in the Jack Plate market.  The first Bob’s Jack plate to offer a pump inside the jack plate structure, saving boaters room inside the boat, and eliminating the need to mount a pump inside the boat.  This is a great OEM feature to help save time in rigging.

The new internal pump has a motor stronger than any other internal jack plate on the market currently, which will offer greater lifting speed, and strength with heavy outboards.  All of the Bob’s patented features from our standard series, automotive style grease nipples in the side rails, tension rods, and the famous Bob’s Machine Shop Design, are all incorporated into the Action Series Jack Plate™.

Offered in 4″, 6″, 8″, 10″, 12″ and 14″ setbacks, Bob’s Jack plates offer 1 piece design, unlike competitors that require setback spacers to achieve the proper setback.

Rated for 650HP race motors.  For the 7 Marine motors, 600hp Merc, we recommend our 7 Marine specific jack plate due to width of the 7 Marine motor, but these can be custom made in the Race series, call for more info.

Setback Standard Series Jack Plate 300hp

Bob’s Machine Shop’s standard series jack plates have a proven track record.  Less weight on the transom, pump protected inside the boat, lifetime structure warranty to original end user, and 5 year warranty on pump!

Our standard series Hydraulic jack plates have been on the market since 1978 and are a proven unit.  They have been redesigned, but the concept has remained.  The lightest weight hydraulic jack plate on the market!  The standard series belief is to keep the least amount of weight on the transom, and by keeping the pump inside the boat, keeps this weight down.  All standard series jack plates have a lifetime warranty on the structure to the original end user, and a 5 year warranty on the hydraulic pump motor.

Gen 3 Extreme ACTION – 4″ Setback – 550HP V8

Bob’s Machine Shop has re engineered their world famous jack plate for new 550+hp engines including V8’s.

The New Gen 3 Extreme Action is wider allowing for Verado installation without the use of spacers.  The Extreme Gen 3 Action has the all in one style pump, built into the jack plate so no hoses or pump to mount inside the boat.  This makes rigging the boat extremely easy!

Through innovative engineering, BMS’s new Extreme Series (TM) jack plates are their strongest yet.

The Extreme Gen 3 Action series jack plates are available in 4, 6, 8, 10 & 12″  setbacks to suit every application.

Bob’s Machine is the 1st jack plate manufacturer to have a hydraulic jack plate for the 7 Marine, 627hp outboard!

This unit has been beefed up to handle the extreme forces of the worlds most powerful outboard.

Wider unit to handle width of the Mercury 600 V12

4″ Setback, with Mercury Marine’s 600HP V12 custom mounting hole pattern & BIA bolt pattern with double top bolts so can be used for multiple large engine applications including Oxe & Cox diesels, Yamaha 425, 7 Marine, & all other BIA pattern motors.

Kicker Jac

With a maximum engine rating of 40 hp, BMS’s hydraulic kicker jackplate provides slow-speed power for cruisers, auxiliary power for sailboats and trolling power for fishermen. Sailboat skippers will appreciate the jackplate’s ability to reduce engine drag while under sail.

For economy, powerboaters can fire up their kicker for no-wake zones, slow cruising or when navigating shallow backwaters. And, the jack provides anglers with the option of using just one motor for trolling and main power.

Mini Action Jack Plate (50HP Max)

Bob’s Machine Shop has just launched a new line of jack plates for smaller boats with lower-hp engines. The lightweight Mini Jacs feature a smaller footprint and, depending on the model, will handle engines up to 50 hp

Double Jac 2x 550HP

DOUBLE JAC ™ A single jack plate capable of lifting upto 2 x 550 hp engines.

This product brings a simpler rigging option to boaters with twins that need a jack plate.  In the past you would mount two jack plates, and have to control them individually, normally requiring two switches and two gauges to make sure you kept at same height.

Now via Bob’s Machine Shop’s Double Jac, you will only have to install one pump inside the boat.  It is a high flow pump and includes a flow divider/combiner, so it keeps the twin cylinders in the jack plate lifting at the same rate.

The twin jack plate has a standard engine “center to center” of 30 inches.

Triple Jac 3x 550HP

Triple JAC ™ A single jack plate capable of lifting upto 3 x 550 hp engines.

Tilt & Jac – A Unique tilt & jack plate combo unit!

Bob’s Machine Shop’s new Patented combo tilt and jack aka The Tilt & Jac!

This unit doubles as both a tilt and trim, and a jack plate, and is powered by one internal (mounted inside the boat) hydraulic pump.

There are two hydraulic cylinders in the plate, and via a hydraulic solenoid valve, a flip of a switch changes between tilt & jack.

The unit is rated for 50HP, and can be either clamp on, or BIA bolt on pattern.

Unit includes the plate, hydraulic pump, hoses, switch, solenoid valve, wiring harness, oil, it is a complete kit.
