Advanced Broadband Technology

KDS-6000BB is world first Broadband searchlight sonar. The 80 to 90 kHz frequency or 130 to 210 kHz frequency can be selected depending on the Transducer. The most suitable output frequency can be selected in 0.1 kHz step depending on the fishing method and the target species from closer range to longer range. Selection of frequency is as easy and quick as tuning a radio. Flexible selection of frequency enables the user to stay away from interference with the sounders on the other vessels.

Digital signal processing enables high resolution images

Both of high resolution in closer range and noise reduction performance in longer are materialized at high level with newly-developed digital signal processing, KDP-V (Koden Digital Processing series V).

High scan speed for fast fish detection

Scanning speed is remarkably increased by adding 15°and 20° in scanning sector angle steps. These steps are not eguipped with the current model. lt can detect surrounding fish schools quickly.

Four different presentation modes available for various fishing scenes

・Sonar mode is useful for searching around the ship.

・Off-center mode helps to show more information of ahead.

・Echo sounder mode for displaying image like fishfinder is also available.

・Bottom scan mode can display reflected echoes from underwater and seabed in a cross selection image.

User friendly operation with Conditional Memory keys

Six of CM(Condition Memory) keys offer the user to preset all the current settings and recall them instantly. It is like six sonars in one unit.

KDS-6000BB comes in black box. The user can select a monitor from the market or the optional 17 inch LCD monitor.

Features

Easy to install both Display unit and Hull unit

Clear color LCD screen. ESR-145 is easy to handle and can be installed anywhere. The flush-mount installation can be screwed from the four corners of the back side. The Hull unit and Transducer unit are small and lightweight, and easy to carry and install.

High speed turning beam

The high-speed searchlight Sonar achieves the high-speed turning. It reduces the search time, prevents search omissions, and helps improve operational efficiency.

Equipped with stabilizer function as standard

The Echo Sounder performance is improved by automatically correcting the direction of the Transducer unit due to the pitch and roll of the ship, and a higher-class function is standard equipment.

Easy operation

Set with the rotary knob and operate with the function key. The operating system has realized easy operation.

Target lock function

By setting the function, the rotary direction and tilt angle are automatically changed according to the movement of the target school of fish, and the school of fish is always displayed on the screen.

Convenient ring markers and cross cursors

The distance to the school of fish can be measured accurately with the ring marker, and the distance to the target and the direction can be measured accurately with the crosshair cursor.

Hull unit auto up function

By setting the ship speed in advance, the Transducer unit is automatically retracted when the ship speed exceeds the set value, and damage accidents can be prevented. (Data input from the external navigator is required.)
