Erskine Skid Steer Mower

Erskine skid steer mowers are designed for clearing and managing grass, weeds, brush, saplings, small trees, and other overgrown vegetation. Depending on the model, they can be used for land clearing, trail creation, ditch maintenance, construction-site cleanup, property maintenance, and forestry applications.

The lineup includes rotary brush mowers, heavy-duty direct-drive and dual-rotary mowers, extreme HD brush mowers, and forestry mulching mowers. Cutting widths range from approximately 60 to 84 inches, with different designs suited to general vegetation cutting, heavier brush, or forestry mulching.

Hydraulic requirements vary considerably by model, from approximately 13–45 GPM across this collection. The standard rotary mower series includes configurations from 13–32 GPM, the HD Direct-Drive model requires 18–30 GPM, the Extreme HD model requires 25–45 GPM, and the Forestry Mulching Mower requires 32–45 GPM.

Available cutting widths include 60, 66, 72, 78, and 84 inches, depending on the model. For example, the Forestry Mulching Mower has a 60-inch cutting width, the Extreme HD and several heavy-duty models are 72 inches, and the Dual Rotary Brush Mower provides an 84-inch cutting width.

Cutting capacity depends on the attachment. The standard Erskine Brush Mower Series and Heavy Duty Brush Mower are rated for material up to approximately 3 inches in diameter, while the Extreme HD Rotary Brush Mower is listed for up to 10 inches of soft wood. The Forestry Mulching Mower is designed for cutting capacity up to 14 inches, with a stated mulching capacity of up to 6 inches.

Match the mower to your skid steer's hydraulic flow and pressure, required cutting width, vegetation size, and intended application. Lower-flow rotary mower configurations are suitable for general brush and vegetation management, while higher-flow Extreme HD and Forestry Mulching models provide specifications intended for more demanding clearing and mulching work.
