Express Steel Skid Steer Grapple

Express Steel grapples are designed for handling brush, logs, roots, rocks, stumps, debris, and other difficult-to-handle materials. The lineup includes brush grapples, root grapples, rock bucket grapples, log grapples, stump bucket grapples, and Vertical Extreme grapples for different land-clearing, forestry, cleanup, and material-handling applications.

The lineup includes Two-Cylinder Brush Grapples, Heavy-Duty Brush Grapples, Tomahawk HD Brush Grapples, Root Grapples, XHD Grapples, Vertical Extreme Grapples, Log Grapples, Rock Bucket Grapples, and Stump Bucket Grapples. Widths in the listed skid steer models range from approximately 60" to 84", allowing attachment selection based on the application and machine size.

Hydraulic requirements vary significantly by model, ranging from approximately 6–10 GPM to 18–25 GPM among the listed skid steer grapples. For example, the 72" Heavy-Duty Two-Cylinder Brush Grapple requires 6–10 GPM, while several Vertical Extreme, XHD, and larger brush grapple configurations require 15–25 GPM.

A brush grapple is designed primarily for grabbing and moving brush, limbs, logs, and vegetation, while a root grapple is suited to handling roots, rocks, soil, and land-clearing debris. A rock bucket grapple combines grapple functionality with a screening-style bucket design for handling rocks and separating larger debris from soil.

The Express Steel lineup includes both manual-rotation and hydraulic-rotation log grapples. The Toro Dingo and Mini Bobcat manual-rotation log grapples have a 66" opening and require 10–15 GPM, while the hydraulic rotating log grapple has a 62" opening and requires 18–25 GPM.

Choose the grapple based on the material you need to handle, attachment width, hydraulic flow, machine capacity, and required grapple configuration. Before ordering, compare your skid steer's auxiliary hydraulic specifications with the selected model, and consider whether you need features such as two-cylinder clamping, vertical grapple arms, hydraulic log rotation, root-raking capability, or rock screening.
