The RSHY916 provides a 110-inch closed scraping width and 196-inch open scraping width, with an outside closed width of 118 inches and an approximate weight of 1,390 lb.

The scraper uses hydraulic adjustment to change the position of its wings and expand or reduce the working width. A hydraulic flow divider is incorporated to provide equal movement of the wings, helping the two sides adjust together. This makes the HLA hydraulic scraper particularly useful where operators need to change the working width rather than using a fixed-width scraper.

The primary difference is their overall scraping width and weight. The RSHY815 adjusts from 92 to 184 inches and weighs approximately 1,285 lb, while the RSHY916 adjusts from 110 to 196 inches and weighs approximately 1,390 lb. The RSHY916 therefore provides a wider scraping range, while the RSHY815 offers a smaller configuration. Choosing between them should depend on the required working width and the equipment being used with the scraper.
