MK MARTIN Tractor Tool Arm

The MK Martin Axis Tool Arm is designed to extend a rotary cutter beyond the tractor, allowing operators to mow challenging areas such as ditches, slopes, pond edges, embankments, and fence lines while keeping the tractor on more stable ground. A compatible rotary cutter is required and is sold separately.

The AXIS4 provides a 60-inch offset reach and supports tools up to 480 lbs, while the AXIS5-6 provides an 84-inch offset reach and supports tools up to 800 lbs. The AXIS4 is designed for 4-foot cutters, while the AXIS5-6 accommodates 5-foot or 6-foot rotary cutters depending on tractor horsepower.

The Axis Tool Arm lineup is designed for tractors from approximately 30 to 80+ HP, depending on the model and rotary cutter being used. The AXIS4 requires at least 30 HP, while the AXIS5-6 requires approximately 60 HP for a 5-foot cutter and 80 HP for a 6-foot cutter.

The Axis features hydraulic tool lift and hydraulic tool rotation, allowing the operator to raise, lower, and change the cutter angle for mowing uneven terrain and ditch banks. The cutting angle can range from approximately 55° to 90°, depending on cylinder position.

The Axis Tool Arm includes shear-bolt protection to help protect the arm and tractor if the cutter encounters a heavy obstruction. It also includes a transport lock to secure the arm during road transport and a stabilizer bar system with multiple cutter mounting options.

Before purchasing, verify your tractor's horsepower, minimum operating weight, 3-point hitch category, hydraulic remotes, and rotary cutter weight. The AXIS4 uses a Category 1 hitch and requires a minimum tractor weight of 2,900 lbs, while the AXIS5-6 uses Category 1 or 2 and requires approximately 5,800 lbs minimum tractor weight.
