UtiliTough Skid Steer Mulcher

Utilitough FEMAC S15US skid steer mulchers are designed for demanding vegetation management, land clearing, brush removal, and forestry mulching applications. The DFD series provides multiple working-width and hydraulic-flow options, while the DFX series is a heavy-duty configuration for higher-flow skid steers.

The S15US DFD Series is available in 53-inch, 63-inch, and 73-inch working widths. The DFD53, DFD63, and DFD73 models are matched to progressively higher machine horsepower ranges and provide different coverage options for clearing work.

Hydraulic requirements range from approximately 15–40 GPM, depending on the model. The DFD53 requires 15–30 GPM, while the DFD63 and DFD73 require approximately 30–40 GPM, so the mulcher should be matched to the skid steer's auxiliary hydraulic flow.

The S15US DFD Series offers 53-, 63-, and 73-inch working widths with flow requirements from 15–40 GPM, while the S15US DFX Series is a heavy-duty configuration available in 63- and 73-inch widths with approximately 32–53 GPM hydraulic flow. The DFX is therefore intended for higher-flow skid steer applications.

The DFD models are designed for machines ranging from approximately 50–135 HP. The DFD53 is rated for 50–75 HP, the DFD63 for 75–100 HP, and the DFD73 for 100–135 HP, making proper machine matching important when selecting a model.

Before ordering, compare your machine's horsepower, auxiliary hydraulic flow, operating pressure, attachment weight capacity, and required working width with the selected model. The DFD series uses a 17-inch rotor and has model-specific tooth counts, while the available DFX models require higher hydraulic flow, so selecting the correct configuration is essential for compatibility.
