Product Description
GKB Aerator | Model AR100‑AR200 | Width 39"‑79" | Horsepower 10‑50 HP | Towing eye / 3‑point (Cat I/II) | For Tractor
DESCRIPTION
Compaction slowly chokes an artificial pitch—flattened fibers, sealed infill, harder footing, poor ball roll, and surface water that lingers. The GKB Aerator is built precisely to reverse that cycle. Its coupled, geared rollers carry rows of carbide teeth that pry into the infill and lift it from the base of the fibers, breaking compaction where it actually forms while keeping the carpet pile unharmed. The result is restored porosity, livelier play characteristics, and a safer, more consistent surface.
Optimized to run at typical field maintenance speeds, the Aerator works continuously without stopping, following your course and evenly treating the surface. You can tune aggressiveness and downforce to match conditions: add water ballast on the AR100 or stack metal plates on the AR150/AR200 for heavily compacted areas. With towing eye or three‑point coupling (Cat I/II) and optional front/rear rollers, integration with your tractor fleet is straightforward.
Key Features
- Decompaction mechanism: Coupled, geared rollers with carbide teeth create a prying action at fiber base to lift and loosen infill without cutting or scratching the carpet.
- Depth control: Adjustable working depth from 0 to 3.5 cm (0–1.5") targets the infill layer where compaction forms.
- Speed envelope: Operates effectively at 7–12 km/h, with a typical processing speed around 10 km/h for consistent results.
- Roller configurations: Available with 4, 6, or 8 tooth-roller setups to match pitch condition and desired throughput.
- Surface safety: Minimizes fiber tip wear versus abrasive brushing or tooth bars that only disturb the top few millimeters.
- Ballast options: Add water ballast on AR100 or metal plate ballast on AR150/AR200 to tackle severe compaction.
- Consistent coverage: Continuous, non‑stopping operation follows your line for uniform treatment and predictable play restoration.
- Versatile Model Range – Covers AR100, AR150, and AR200, with widths from 39" to 79" to suit different pitch sizes and access requirements.
- Carbide Tooth Rollers – Multiple geared rollers with hardened carbide teeth create a prying action to decompact infill at the fibre base.
- Easy Tractor Integration – Compatible with towing eye or three‑point linkage (Cat I/II) for simple attachment to a wide range of compact and mid‑size tractors.
- Built for Synthetic Turf – Specifically developed to relieve compaction and restore drainage, player safety, and ball roll on artificial sports surfaces.
- Variable Power Requirements – Operates with tractors from 10 hp to 50 hp, making it accessible for small, medium, and larger tractor fleets.
