DESCRIPTION

This professional-grade mulching system combines the advanced engineering of the Seppi SMWA 175 flail mower with the rugged performance of the MAX50 remote-controlled tracked carrier. The result is a versatile and efficient solution for maintaining roadsides, clearing undergrowth, managing public green spaces, and operating in areas unsafe or inaccessible for standard machinery.

The SMWA 175 is a 66" wide flail mower that mulches grass, brush, and prunings up to 5 cm (2") in diameter. It’s constructed with a high-tensile S420 steel chassis, houses a triple helical HELIX rotor with 18 heavy-duty SMW flails, and features two rows of tempered counter cutters for a fine and even mulch. Its floating SAE universal skid steer attachment allows the machine to contour uneven ground, delivering smooth and precise cutting performance across variable terrain.

Powered by the MAX50 remote-controlled carrier, this system offers true mobility in dangerous or steep environments. The MAX50 is equipped with a 49 HP Perkins 3-cylinder turbo diesel engine (Stage V/T4F compliant), and delivers up to 80 L/min (21 GPM) hydraulic flow at 4,640 PSI more than enough to drive demanding attachments like the SMWA 175.

The track width is hydraulically adjustable up to 181 cm (71"), and the carrier maintains traction and balance on slopes up to 55°, enabling safe operation in hilly or rugged conditions. The 2.4 GHz remote control gives operators full access to machine functions with a range of up to 160 meters (525 feet), keeping them at a safe and ergonomic distance from noise, debris, and unstable terrain.
