Skid Steer Log Splitter

Skid steer log splitters are designed for splitting firewood, logs, large rounds, and heavy wood blocks. They are useful for firewood production, forestry cleanup, land clearing, and commercial wood-processing applications.

What size logs can these skid steer splitters handle?
Log capacity varies by attachment design and model. Some units are designed for larger logs and blocks, while others are better suited to standard firewood-sized material. Always check the manufacturer's maximum log or opening specifications before operation.

Choose based on your skid steer's hydraulic flow (GPM), available hydraulic pressure, required splitting force, log size, and attachment capacity. The models in this category range from compact inverted splitters to heavy-duty hydraulic and cone-style systems.

Hydraulic requirements vary by model. The listed splitters generally require approximately 6–55 GPM, so your skid steer's auxiliary hydraulic system should be matched to the specific attachment requirements.

Splitting force depends on the model. Available options include approximately 25-ton to 35-ton hydraulic splitting force, while cone-style and screw splitters use a different method for breaking and processing large logs.

No. Compatibility depends on the skid steer's auxiliary hydraulic flow, pressure, lifting capacity, attachment mounting system, and the splitter's specifications. Confirm your machine's requirements before purchasing and operating the attachment.
