Virnig Skid Steer Disc Mulcher

The Virnig V70 TDM60 Tree Disc Mulcher is a high-flow skid steer attachment designed for forestry work, land clearing, vegetation management, brush removal, and tree mulching. It can efficiently mulch trees in the 6–8 inch diameter range and quickly cut trees up to 14 inches in diameter, making it suitable for demanding vegetation-clearing applications.

The TDM60 has a 60-inch cutting width and approximately 70 inches of overall width. It measures about 40.5 inches in overall height and 77.5 inches in overall depth, with an 11-inch deck height. The minimum cut height is approximately 2.1 inches, providing flexibility for different land-clearing and vegetation-management applications.

The TDM60 is designed for high-flow skid steer loaders, with a recommended hydraulic flow range of 30–50 GPM. The attachment has a maximum operating pressure of approximately 4,200–4,500 PSI depending on the specification revision, so customers should verify the current specification for their selected configuration and match the attachment to a properly equipped high-flow carrier.

The V70 TDM60 has a stated maximum cutting capacity of 14 inches in diameter, while it is designed to efficiently mulch trees around 6–8 inches in diameter. Its 60-inch fully machined Quadco® disc uses multiple replaceable teeth to process trees and dense vegetation efficiently during land-clearing operations.

The TDM60 uses four-sided, rotatable and replaceable steel teeth mounted to bolt-on tooth mounts, with carbide teeth available as an option. It has 12 top teeth, 20 bottom teeth, and 12 outside teeth, along with three deck-mounted teeth and a recutter bar designed to produce a finer mulch finish. The attachment also uses a bent-axis piston motor with relief valves and a motor/spindle guard.

The TDM60 is available with two chute styles: standard and open. The standard chute has a tapered design that helps guide trees toward the disc, while the open chute provides additional space for processing larger, bushier material. The attachment also features a replaceable push bar, chute, and deflector, allowing these components to be serviced or replaced as needed.
