The SR Series operates using Hydrotab’s revolutionary patented technology. The motion of the interceptor is controlled with a high resistance bladder which is expanded pneumatically. This simple idea allows us to have a simple and open-to-the-sea-water mechanism without any need of sealing or use of any sensitive to sea-water parts (gears, shafts, electronic elements, motors, etc). In addition, this innovative pneumatic mechanism allows us to apply on the blades high shifting forces. Those high shifting forces applied to the blades guarantee that interceptors will continue operate and remain unblocked even under extreme barnacle and marine growth! Consequently, that simple but innovative pneumatic mechanism makes Hydrotab interceptors indestructible, and allows at the same time an easy and quick installation!

BT Series

The BT Series is the compact Inox-316 series of Hydrotab. It’s T-Shape design provides excellent and efficient operation, and its 6 different standard models make sure that they fit in hulls of any size!

The BT interceptors have an Inox-316 body, which allows them to withstand the high forces of the open sea. Its simple design principle ensures that it never fails, even in the harshest sea conditions, and at the same time provide a very simple installation process

The FW interceptors have an Inox-316 body, which allows them to withstand the high forces of the open sea. Furthermore, its simple design allows the interceptor to be easily accessed and inspected, even while underwater!

This simple idea allows us to have a simple and open-to-the-sea-water mechanism without any need of sealing or use of any sensitive to sea-water parts (gears, shafts, electronic elements, motors, etc).  As a results, this simple but innovative pneumatic mechanism makes Hydrotab interceptors indestructible, and at the same time allows an easy and quick installation!

With a maximum stroke extension of 45mm, the interceptors achieve instant lift effect and much more efficient stabilization than traditional trim tabs!
