The Baumalight S22 Skidsteer Stump Grinder is engineered for efficiency, power, and productivity. Featuring a 12V electric linear actuator, it replaces traditional hydraulic swing cylinders, ensuring maximum torque and faster grind times. This innovative design directs all hydraulic power to the rotor, optimizing grinding performance.

Designed for full-sized skidsteers, the S22 mounts seamlessly using a universal skidsteer adapter. It comes with six complimentary replacement teeth, ensuring hassle-free maintenance. The carbide teeth extend 1-¼ inches from the rotor, providing superior clearance and preventing debris buildup.

Ideal for Owner-Operators
The S22 is a lighter, cost-effective alternative to the S24, making it an excellent choice for owner-operators. It grinds faster than the S24, as all hydraulic oil is directed to the drive motor. The swing actuator is powered by the skidsteer battery, which conveniently recharges while moving between stumps.

For larger companies or rental businesses, the S24 or larger models may be preferable due to their heavier build and hydraulic cylinders. If durability is a concern, upgrading to a larger stump grinder ensures longevity and resilience.

D006990 OPTIONAL HAND CONTROL	Is one of your skidsteers older, without an auxiliary electrical connection? We also have an in-cab adapter to plug into your Aux Electrical Connected attachments that will allow you to run them. Plug the adapter into the attachment, connect it to 12V and now you can run your new attachment on an older skidsteer.
AUX PLUG IS STANDARD	Baumalight now offers a more direct and simple way of connecting to your skidsteer’s auxiliary electrical connection. Simply connect the hydraulics and plug in the electrical. Now you can control the attachment from inside your cab.

12-VOLT ELECTRIC ACTUATOR POWERED SWING	The S22 has an electric actuator which really boosts productivity because all of the hydraulic flow and pressure can go directly to the motor. The power to swing the head is drawn from the 12V battery in your skidsteer which can recharge while repositioning.
30 AMPS FUSED POWER SUPPLY REQUIRED	The 12V power source must be equipped with a 30 amps fuse for the constant power to the electric swing actuator. If your skidsteer does not have a 30-amp fuse then we suggest running a separate a wire directly connected to the battery using a heavy wire. Fuses rated below 30 amps will fail during normal operation, there is nothing an operator can do to avoid that as the slip clutch in the electric swing actuator is set to draw up to 30 amps before it actuates.This is just for the constant power, the directional signal wires can be fused at a lower amperage.
CARBIDE TIPPED	Like the finest saw blades, the cutting teeth on Stump Blasters are carbide tipped. This incredibly hard material ensures reliable cutting performance. When grinding stumps, buried hazards are inevitable; gravel, stones even metal posts are not uncommon to “find”. Our carbide teeth are designed to stand up to this abuse and keep on blasting stumps to dust.
6 FREE TEETH	All S22 Stump Grinder comes with a free set of 6 replacement teeth. These replacement teeth are conveniently shipped in the owner’s manual tub bolted to the frame.
MORE TEETH	The high number of teeth means that each tooth needs to do less work. Each of the Stump Grinders teeth only need to make a small cut, because the work is shared by more of our rugged teeth they last longer and usually only require 2 or 3 replacements at a time. The bolt-on designed teeth allow for straightforward replacement.
HYDRAULIC MOTOR	Skid steer mounted Stump Blasters run on hydraulic motors. For best results, match your equipments flow rate to one of our available hydraulic motor options.
ROTOR	The massive ¾" thick steel rotor provides the back bone for the Stump Blaster cutting system. It’s the anchor for the carbide tipped teeth. For smooth operation it’s important that the rotor remains solid, with no flexing. The rugged rotor also provides the Stump Blaster with the extra momentum needed when the grinding is tough, making sure the Stump Blaster can power through the hardest stumps.
MORE CLEARANCE	The Stump Blaster’s carbide teeth extend a full 1-¼ inches from the rotor. This prevents chips and mulch from getting plugged. More chip clearing produces smoother operation and reduces heat build-up that can damage the rotor and cause premature tooth failure.
FLOATING DEFLECTOR	The deflector floats as you grind providing chip and debris control from first cut to maximum depth without getting in the way. In tight grinding situations the deflector can be flipped up out of the way.
HARDENED STEEL BUSHING	Spring Bushings made from high grade chrome-vanadium AISI 6150 spring steel on all main pivot points.
GREASEABLE PINS	Our grease pins are zinc plated to prevent corrosion which will allow for smoother operation of the units joints over their lifetime.
