Made of 316L stainless steel, these flush mount rod holders feature a wide low profile cap for excellent mounting strength and to enhance the appearance of any boat. 100% welded cap to tube joint will never break. Super tough 1/4" wide x 1/2" tall gimbal bar will stand up to virtually any punishment heavy tackle or downrigger mounts can dish out. White vinyl liner protects rods and is keyed with the gimbal bar to eliminate liner twist.

Flush Mount Rod Holders - Cast Bottom

Made of 316L stainless steel, these flush mount rod holders feature a wide low profile cap for excellent mounting strength and to enhance the appearance of any boat. 100% welded cap to tube joint will never break. Super tough rounded cast bottom including a 1/2" pipe threaded water drain, the largest drain in the industry. Other brands use only a 1/4" drain that clogs frequently. Rounded bottoms are a great safety feature for open gunnel boats where the bottom of the rod holder is exposed to be hit by tender shins. Designed to be used over dry storage areas. Attach a 1/2" pipe threaded hose barb (not included) and route a 1/2" drain hose safely away from the dry area and into the bilge. Flush Mount Rod Holder Heavy Duty Cast Bottom

The Smith 80 Series has the same construction as the 70 Series with everything made larger for big fishing tackle. 80's feature an even larger low profile cap for greater stress distribution and mounting strength. Mirror polishing means they enhance the appearance of any boat. 100% welded cap to tube joint will never break. Integrally cast gimbal bar will stand up to any punishment heavy tackle or downrigger mounts can dish out. White vinyl liners protects rods and are keyed with the gimbal bar to eliminate liner twist. On boats where the bottom of the rod holder is exposed the rounded cast bottom is shin-safe. When installed into a dry storage area, attach a 1/2" hose barb (not included)

and route a water hose away from the dry area and safely to the bilge.

Swivel Flush Mount Rod Holder Heavy Duty

These super heavy duty swivel rod holders feature the same quality construction and dimensions as the drain bottom 80 Series with the addition of a precision machined swivel gimbal controlled by a smooth acting clutch. Precision machined cast stainless gimbal cup stands up to any punishment heavy tackle can dish out. White vinyl liner protects rods and is keyed with the rod holder tube to eliminate liner twist. The clutch may require occasional adjustment so swivel rod holders must be installed where there will be working access to the adjustment nut on the bottom of the rod holder.

Why does anyone need swivels? When high speed trolling, Smith's swivel action rod holders prevent costly main line wear by allowing the rod tip to follow the line where it trails behind the boat. The line stays centered on the roller tip preventing line wear, lost fish and lost tackle. They are smart to have in your gunnels when a really big fish takes your bait. And when fighting big fish it's often smarter to leave the rod in a rod holder. Smith swivels allow the angler to follow the fish while letting the strong swivel rod holder take most of the pressure.

Square Rail Adjustable Clamp-On

All the same great features as the stainless adustable clamp-on (55105A) with a clamp made to for the square rails found on pontoon boats. Each rod holder comes with 2 protective liners, one to fit 1" and one to fit 1-1/4" square rail. The liners are round on the outside allowing the rod holder to be adjusted to any angle above the water, and the hidden left or right adjustment allows even more adjustment choices.

Transom Mount Aluminum Rod Holder

The perfect way to add rod holders to the transom area or seating station. Designed with outboard engine wells in mind. These rod holders feature a super strong 3/8” thick blade, rugged welded 1/3” tall gimbal bar, and a 1-5/8” inside diameter with a flared opening to make it easy to insert a rod in the holder. The taper liner and the addition of a rod security hole in the blade ensures that your valuable rods are protected. Mount vertically or with some outward angle for a wider fishing spread. Tube leans 5 degrees away from the 3" tall x 2-3/4" wide mounting base.
