DESCRIPTION

TOWABLE DRUM STYLE WHOLE TREE CHIPPER Officially rated as a 23-inch capacity whole tree chipper, the Model 2590 actually boasts a 26.25-inch by 30-inch chipper throat opening, making it capable of handling large whole trees, tops, and logging slash with ease. It features Bandit’s unique Slide Box Feed System and can be equipped with a dedicated micro chip drum for pellet production. The durable 37" diameter x 30" wide drum, equipped with six dual-edge or babbitted knives, is backed by Bandit's 5-year "GUTS" warranty. Depending on engine options, the Model 2590 can fully load chip trailers in approximately 16-18 minutes. A standard 7 1/2' infeed conveyor assists in loading and pulling material into the chipper.

Customers can choose from Caterpillar engine options, including a C18, 755, or 800 horsepower engine. The standard forestry-style stationary discharge chute enhances chipping throwing velocity, fully packing chip vans to their maximum capacity.

TRACK DRUM STYLE WHOLE TREE CHIPPER The 23" capacity Model 2590 track is an excellent solution for right-of-way and land clearing contractors needing a versatile and productive chipper. Featuring Bandit’s unique Slide Box Feed System with dual horizontal feed wheels, the 2590 easily pulls material into the chipper drum. The 37" diameter x 30" wide drum with six dual-edge or babbitted knives is backed by Bandit's 5-year "GUTS" warranty. The 2590 track features a Caterpillar 320L steel track undercarriage and a standard 7 1/2' infeed conveyor. The Caterpillar C18, 755 horsepower engine provides ample torque and fuel efficiency. A forestry-style stationary discharge chute is standard, producing maximum chip throwing velocity.
