MP560 Fixed Tooth Mulcher for Power Take Off on a Tractor

Our 500 series fixed tooth masticating head brush mulchers for 3-point hitch tractors are designed to maintain and clear fence lines on farms and entry level contractor work. The 500 series Baumalight brush mulchers will efficiently mulch heavy brush and small trees and are offered with two different types of teeth. The Planer style teeth take small bites and provide the most efficient mulching and cutting. The Ripper style teeth have more of a shredding mulching action. Their v-shaped design makes them less susceptible to impacts with hard objects like stones, making them the better choice when mulching below grade and in fence lines.

Tractor mounted brush mulchers are not limited to reverse only, drive forward over your mulch and turn it into a finer mulch. Also unique on the MP560 and bigger sizes of tractor mount mulchers is the opening cutting shield. This allows you to adjust for a better, higher angle of attack on bigger brush or keep it closed and control the mulch for even finer results.

With direct drive from the engine, all the way through the heavy duty gear box to the teeth a brush mulcher on the PTO of a tractor is the most efficient way to use a brush mulcher for land clearing.

The 300 series is our most light weight fixed tooth brush mulcher for 3-point hitch tractors. With low ground speed the MP360 brush mulcher will efficiently cut heavy vegetation and light brush using high speed teeth. The concave shaped carbide tip provides aggressive brush mulching action by chipping the brush bit by bit. Part of the secret of their performance is the ease of rotating the teeth so there is always a sharp edge to make mulching easier.

The 300 series is our most light weight fixed tooth masticating head brush mulcher for 3-point hitch tractors. With low ground speed the MP348 brush mulcher will efficiently cut heavy vegetation and light brush using high speed teeth. Part of the secret of their performance is the ease of rotating the teeth so there is always a sharp edge to make mulching easier. The spiral tooth pattern helps in one tooth at a time for smooth mulching.

The direct drive of a brush mulcher on the PTO of a tractor is the most efficient way to run a brush mulcher and if you check our brush cutting size charts you will see that the slower you can travel the bigger material you can handle. A heavy duty reinforced belt delivers the force from the gear box to the rotor. Heavy duty gearbox for high performance and better mulching power and long life. To protect the gearbox and drive system, Baumalight PTO Mulchers come with a slip clutch, which automatically disengages the clutch at a predetermined torque. If a fence wire is caught during the mulching process , it can damage the unit by slipping over to the edge of the rotor and get wrapped on the shaft, so wire protection kit is provided to safeguard the rotor and the shaft.
The MS348 small tractor mounted brush mulcher as a rotor diameter of 15 inches(tool tips), rotor width of 48 inches and a path width of 60 inches. The A450 motor option has a cutting capacity of up to 4 inches in brush diameter, see the brush cutting chart to see what your tractor would do.

6 FREE TEETH

All MP560 Brush Mulchers come with a free set of 6 replacement teeth. These replacement teeth are conveniently shipped in a robust enclosed compartment on top of the frame.

OPTIONAL 500 SERIES RIPPER TEETH

The 500 Series teeth come in two carbide tipped styles; Planer and Ripper. The Planer style teeth take small bites and provide the most efficient mulching and cutting. The Ripper style teeth have more of a shredding mulching action. Their v-shaped design makes them less susceptible to impacts with hard objects like stones, making them the better choice when mulching below grade and in fence lines. Both styles are Bolt-on replaceable for quick and easy servicing and replacement even in the field.

All units shipped with Standard P5000 Series Planer Teeth only and ripper teeth can be installed as the planer teeth need replacing. Units can be operated with a mix of Planer and Ripper teeth.

SPIRAL TOOTH PATTERN

For smoother mulching, the spiral tool pattern allows one tooth to engage at a time.

SLIP CLUTCH

To protect the gearbox and drive sytem, Baumalight PTO mulchers come with a slip clutch. Automatically disengaging the clutch at a predetermined torque.

HEAVY DUTY GEARBOX

Heavy duty gearbox for high performance and better mulching power and long life.

HYDRAULIC DOORS

The single debris door is controlled hydraulically from the cab to give the operator more control of the mulching action. When closed the mulch debris is more controlled and a finer mulch is produced.

REINFORCED BELT

A heavy duty reinforced belt delivers the force from the gear box to the rotor. This offers protection from the shocks inherent in mulching.

WIRE PROTECTION KIT

Protective steel cover that prevents damage from wire fencing.

CHAIN CURTAIN

The rear of the unit is guarded by a chain curtain so standing brush enters and mulched debris exits.

GREASEABLE PINS

Baumalight mulchers feature grease pins on all pivot points, reducing the risk of equipment damage and providing long life and easy servicing.

HEAVY DUTY FRAME

Heavy duty frame with T1 alloy tool steel sheet metal for all the main areas. Powder coated frame with multiple anti-slip pads to give you secure footing for ease of entry and exit from your cab.

POWDER COATED

Our powder coat finish is much tougher than conventional paint to stand up to the rigors of mulching and helps prevent rusting.

DOUBLE SHIELDED HOSES

All hoses are sleeved for operator and hose protection. The Connecting hoses are sleeved and wrapped in hose armour for double protection.
