The Baumalight RSS Series Stump Planers are high-performance excavation attachments, designed for efficient stump removal and land clearing. Compatible with skid steers, these models offer powerful cutting action, reducing stumps to mulch while minimizing ground disturbance.

Each model features heavy-duty planer tools, utilizing high-strength cutting knives and a planetary drive system for maximum torque and precision. The RSS380 and RSS580 use 2” Hex drive systems, while the RSS780 features a 8-bolt flange mount for enhanced stability and strength.

HARDENED REPLACEABLE TIP	The Splinter’s entry tip is hardened for extra-long wear and replaceable for a longer life.
HEAVY DUTY SHARPENABLE BLADES	The smaller leading blade is made from AR500 steel and the larger clean-up blade is made with AR400 steel. All cutting blades can be sharpened, lowering costs by not replacing blades as often.
INTERNAL HOSE ROUTING	All of the hydraulic hoses on the Splinter are routed internally where possible and sleeved for operator and hose protection while the connecting hoses are sleeved and wrapped in hose armor for double protection.
ANTI-SLIP MAT FOR EASY ACCESS TO CAB	For ease of entry and exit from the cab, an anti-slip strip gives sure footing.
EASY TO CHANGE BITS	Easily change from splitting to grinding.
AUGER ATTACHMENT	Pengo’s patented 40/50 dual angle bolt on cutting can be flipped from a 40 degree cut angle to a 50 degree cut angle for a more aggressive cut in clay and hard pack dirt.
LOG SPLITTER ATTACHMENT	Baumalight’s log splitter tool can split pieces of wood and logs up to 12 feet or even 20 ft long.
