DESCRIPTION
Experience the power and precision of the Ditch Bank Flail Mower, a heavy-duty solution designed to tackle heavy brush, including grasses, debris, sticks, vines, branches, and other wooded materials up to 4 inches in diameter. The mower head, attached to a hydraulic arm, can pivot up to 90 degrees for hedge or hillside work or down 55 degrees for ditch or bank work, ensuring versatility in various applications.
When connected to the optional 4-way hydraulic control valve with a hydraulic float, this flail mower adapts to the contours of the terrain for a smooth and even cut. Unlike traditional mowers that throw grass, the flail mower cuts finely and leaves the cuttings on the ground, making it an ideal choice for sensitive areas where debris could cause damage. Controller Options
The Ditch Bank Flail Mower comes with two types of controllers:
Float and Non-Float Controller Description

Float Controller:
- Acts as a splitter for tractors with only one remote hydraulic port (2 hoses).
- Can be mounted within reach of the tractor’s driver seat.
- Allows the tilt cylinder to be plugged into the float port, enabling the mower to follow the contour of uneven ground.
- Functions: Splitter and float function.

Non-Float Controller:
- Can only be used for the splitter function.
- Lacks the float functionality for contour adaptation.
Cutting Capabilities
- Blade Type: Heavy-duty hammer blades made of cast steel (more durable than cast iron). Each blade weighs 2 lbs 12 oz.
- Cutting Width: Available in 55”, 63”, and 71” depending on the model.
- Rotor Rotation: Reverse rotation allows blades to shear material efficiently, throwing it up and over the rotor.
- Cutting Height: Adjustable from 0” to 6” for varied cutting conditions.
Hydraulic Features
- Hydraulic Arm: Allows the mower head to pivot up to 90 degrees for hedge or hillside work and down 55 degrees for ditch or bank work.
