Heavy Duty Pilot Auger
The Ideal Heavy Duty Pilot Auger Power Head is engineered for tackling tough drilling tasks with precision and efficiency. Designed to handle diverse soil conditions and penetrate rock obstructions, this power head ensures dependable performance with a drilling depth capacity of up to 40 inches. The mounting design allows for adjustable tilt angles, making it suitable for various applications. A high-torque reversible hydraulic motor powers the unit, paired with an industry-proven 2" hex output gearbox for reliable operation. The down pressure cylinder enhances control, letting operators apply the exact force needed for efficient drilling. Additionally, its user-friendly hydraulic controls, located near standard operator panels, simplify operation.
The power head is compatible with 4" or 6" surfaced auger bits featuring replaceable carbide teeth for extended durability. It integrates seamlessly with skid steers and tractors with a 3-point hitch, requiring specific hydraulic setups for optimal functionality.
