DESCRIPTION

A fully integrated sunshine sensor which captures and logs the current light condition - for Parrot Sequoia+.

Note: this spare part is compatible with both Parrot Sequoia and Parrot Sequoia + cameras.

Compatible only with earlier Parrot Sequoia sensors, the Sunshine Sensor for Sequoia calibrates lighting conditions and adjusts readings so that repeat measurements can be compared and the effectiveness of treatment can be gauged. A slot accepts an SD card to expand Sequoia storage memory.

The Sunshine sensor, included with the Sequoia+ Multi-Spectral sensor, is also compatible with the earlier Sequoia models. The Sunshine sensor calibrates the brightness and color of sunlight. That means repeat flights to compare performance over time will be properly weighted, whether each was shot under bright sun, hazy sun, or a complete cloud cover, and at a different time of day. Comparing the mapping of data on repeat flights allows users to evaluate the effectiveness of steps taken to correct crop and field problems. The Sunshine sensor also has an SD card slot to expand memory.
