The solo worker and support sub

Triton 3300/1 MD dives to propeller of wreck

The TRITON 3300/1 MD is the smallest, lightest, 1000 meter-capable sub on the planet. It is perfect for one-man television, filming and observation expeditions. It is also ideal for salvage, rescue and other engineering support tasks.

The submersible’s power, manoeuvrability and ability to integrate with specialist tooling enable it to perform tasks that would typically require a tethered ROV.

Its flexible mechanical and electrical design offers great mission flexibility and allows for rapid reconfiguration between dives and tasks.

Interchangeable tooling frames make the installation of custom manipulators or specialised equipment skids simple, fast and straightforward.

KEY BENEFITS

Triton enjoys a long history working alongside professionals of many disciplines. This insight into the day-to-day practicalities of their roles, and the valuable feedback these relationships have afforded us, has helped us to design a submersible platform tailored specifically to their needs.

SINGLE CONTAINER SOLUTION

A single 20′ ISO shipping container contains the TRITON 1000/2 MD, its launch and recovery system, and support equipment. The requirement for integration with ship services is limited only to electrical power.

Compared to an ROV is is easier to ship, simpler to embark, faster to integrate and effortless to replay and recover.

FREE-SWIMMING

Unlike tethered vehicles for which cumbersome umbilicals require careful handling and pose an inherent entanglement risk, the TRITON 1000/2 MD is completely free-swimming.

The ability to tackle demanding tasks ‘eyes-on’ and without the need for a DP-capable host-vessel speeds projects while reducing risk.

SPECIALIST TOOLING

The TRITON 1000/2 MD can be fitted with a variety of specialist tooling. Mechanical options include cutting, grinding and manipulation tools. Electrical integrations are suitable for cameras, lighting rigs, laser range-and-scaling and other sensors. Fibre-optic communications are also possible.

Triton will work with you to configure your submersible to best meet the requirements of your project.
