Description:

Turbo Turf's introduction of the HY-500-HE marks a revolutionary step in hydroseeding equipment, combining the best features of jet and mechanical hydroseeders into a single hybrid unit. This innovative design ensures efficient mixing, robust spraying power, and superior material application without concerns about rust or material buildup, setting a new standard in the industry.

 Features:

  • Hybrid Design: Combines jet and mechanical agitation for quick and thorough mixing of hydroseeding materials. Allows loading of full bales without the need for breaking them up, ensuring continuous operation.
  • Dual Engine Configuration: Powered by a 13 H.P. Honda engine coupled to a high-volume, high-pressure 3″ X 3″ centrifugal pump (333 GPM, 72 P.S.I.) for jet spraying, and an 8 H.P. Honda engine driving an aggressive mixing paddle for mechanical agitation.
  • Material Capacity: Capable of seeding up to 6,600 square feet per load, accommodating various materials including wood mulch, paper (cellulose) mulch, or pelletized mulch.
  • Spray System: Equipped with a tower gun for efficient spraying with a quick spray time of about 7 minutes, achieving a spray distance of up to 100 feet. Includes 100 feet of 1 1/2″ I.D. hose with free flow couplings for versatile application.
  • Nozzles: Comes with three nozzles: wide hydroseeding nozzle, straight distance nozzle, and trim nozzle, enhancing precision and flexibility in application.
  • Tank and Frame: Features a robust skid frame measuring 45″W x 126″L, with overall dimensions of 69″ x 120″ x 90″. The 500-gallon molded poly tank with rounded corners prevents material buildup and eliminates rust concerns.
  • Operation Efficiency: Offers rapid cleanup with jets that flush the tank in seconds, ensuring minimal downtime between jobs. Suitable for use with any seed type and fertilizer, including granular, water-soluble, or liquid formulations.

Advantages:

  • Reliability: Engineered with heavy structural steel supports for bearing and agitator shaft, ensuring stability and durability. Backed by a 20-year pro-rated tank warranty due to its proven reliability.
  • Versatility: Ideal for landscapers and contractors seeking efficient and reliable hydroseeding capabilities across various project sizes, from residential lawns to commercial landscapes.
