DESCRIPTION
Turbo Turf’s HM-400-T is easy to use and powerful. The new Turbo Turf HM-400-TE is designed to be an ideal machine for landscapers who want a mechanically agitated hydro seeding unit. It is one of the easiest to operate paddle agitated units on the market and can be run by one person. Although it is designed for landscapers it has the ability to spray the toughest erosion control materials such as 100% wood mulches, BFM’s and FGM’s such as Flexterra.
The Turbo Turf HM-400-TE comes with a 13 H.P. Honda engine as standard equipment along with a positive displacement Bowie gear pump. The drive is simple, reliable and easy to service when needed. Loading and mixing is fast and easy. The aggressive paddle agitation allows you to load full bales without the need to break them up.
The Turbo Turf HM-400-TE comes standard with 100 feet of 1 /1/4″ I.D. semi rigid hose with free flow couplings. . There are also 3 nozzles provided as standard equipment on this unit.
The HM-400-TE has an empty weight of 1400 pounds. the loaded weight is 4600 pounds. the physical dimensions are 58″W x 100″L x 66″H. The size of the skid frame is 45″W x 100″ long. It will seed an area of 5300 sq. ft. per load. Maximum materials are 150 pounds of 100% wood mulch, 175 pounds of paper (cellulose) mulch or 200 pounds of pelletized mulch. Time to spray a load is about 15 minutes
