Fecon Bull Hog Mulcher | Model FGT Rotor | Size 74" & 85" | 30–50 GPM | For Skid Steer
DESCRIPTION
The Fecon High Flow Bull Hog Mulcher – FGT Rotor is a heavy-duty hydraulic mulcher attachment engineered for high-flow skid steers tackling demanding land-clearing and vegetation-management applications. Available in 74-inch and 85-inch working widths, the FGT drum-style rotor combines a smooth rotor surface, spiral tool pattern, and innovative tool shape for efficient cutting and consistent material processing. Its 30–50 GPM hydraulic flow requirement makes it suited to high-flow skid steer loaders. The mulcher can quickly process standing trees approximately 4–6 inches in diameter, depending on machine horsepower, while intermittently handling 6–8-inch trees. A severe-duty rotor bearing seal, forged bolt-on rotor stub shafts, and secure single-bolt tool fastening provide durability and simplified serviceability. Multiple carbide and knife tool configurations allow contractors to optimize performance for general mulching, severe-duty applications, rock and abrasion, or finer chip production.
Key Features
High-Flow Hydraulic Mulching Designed for 30–50 GPM high-flow skid steers, delivering the hydraulic capacity needed for demanding brush, tree, stump, and vegetation-clearing applications.
74-Inch & 85-Inch Widths Choose a 74" or 85" working width to match your high-flow skid steer, jobsite requirements, vegetation density, and desired productivity.
FGT Drum-Style Rotor The drum-style FGT rotor features a smooth surface and spiral tool pattern engineered for efficient cutting and dependable material processing.
Efficient Tree Processing Designed to quickly mulch 4–6" standing trees, depending on machine horsepower, with intermittent processing capability for trees measuring approximately 6–8".
Severe-Duty Rotor Seals The severe-duty bearing seal design helps protect critical rotor bearings from debris, supporting longer bearing life in harsh mulching environments.
Single-Bolt Tool Fastening Rear-accessible single-bolt fastening securely retains cutting tools while simplifying inspection, replacement, and routine service.
Forged Rotor Stub Shafts Includes forged bolt-on rotor stub shafts engineered for demanding mulching conditions and convenient serviceability.
Smooth Rotor Surface The lower-profile smooth rotor is well suited for applications requiring operation in deep snow or contact with soil.
Multiple Tool Options Configure the FGT rotor with four tool options, including three carbide configurations and a knife tool for varying vegetation and site conditions.
Standard Dual-Carbide Tools Dual-carbide tooling provides an effective balance of reliability, cutting performance, and versatility for everyday contractor applications.
Severe-Duty Carbide Tools Wear-plate reinforced carbides add durability to the standard double-carbide design for tougher operating environments.
Stone Carbide Tools Stone tools are engineered for enhanced durability and wear resistance when working in rocky, abrasive conditions.
Viking Sword Knife Tools Knife-style tooling is designed to increase productivity while producing finer and more consistent material chip sizes.
Ground-Level Clearing Built for brush, trees, and stumps, the hydraulic Bull Hog mulcher helps contractors reclaim overgrown areas and process vegetation close to ground level.
Made in the USA American steel and craftsmanship support a robust attachment platform built for professional land-clearing and vegetation-management work.

I've started using the mulcher I on several parcels of land 10 acres . I have grind down a couple of 14 inch stumps. Caution the mount bracket behind the mulcher motor exhaust gets extremely hot even with gloves on . But the unit so far seems to works very good it's well put together.
The Firminator G3 is s heavy duty quality machine. The discs worked extremely well and planting and culti-packing is very smooth and easy. Working with Dillon at Ripping It Outdoors was a very good experience and seamless transaction.
After spending way to much money for forest mulching services I discovered this wonderful machine. It's not a giant powerhouse forest mulcher, but it does everything a property owner needs to maintain a forested property. I wish I would have found it sooner.
The Firminator is well built and functions well. I am having some trouble while planting mixed size seeds. Next time out I’ll try setting it so only the smaller seeds drop out the open it up for the larger seeds.
easy buying process and great communication. Mulcher works great, easily clears overgrown brush and even mulched a 5" thick mulberry tree fairly easily. running it off of my old 331 bobcat with no problem powering the drum at all. Only small issue which isn't a big deal is that the supplied hoses are about 16" too short to operate a full range of motion.
Over all built well. I like it is all cast iron and metal and not plastic. Had to modify fertilizer disc mount to fit correctly, nothing major, a little grinding. I modified the center link hitch point to accommodate my John Deere quick hitch. Have yet to plant with it but I’m sure it will work perfect. Love the grease fittings everywhere. Reminds me of the old farm equipment I grew up on, and still use periodically.
My firminator RT was delivered in good condition in ND. I will be using it next week. I have a 45 HP John Deere tractor that is supposed to lift 2000 lb but really struggles to lift this 6 foot firminator RT. I will just have to use in as a two pass operation for now.
I do wish there was a better operating manual for this unit. Maybe that is something you can work on.
I will give you an update once I start using it in a few days.
Great piece of equipment. Performs far better than I expected. One piece of advice - if property is significantly overgrown, consider the tractor attachment first to bring down the over growth and then switch to the UTV attachment to maintain property. No complaints worked perfectly.
TENT is easy to put up , material is tuff as told....only complaint is that i wish the bottom had about 3 to 4 inches overlap towards the inside so i could install a 2 x4 or something to help hold the tent down in high winds we have here in virginia thanks
Hi, my name is Ken. I’ve had a great experience with Ripping It Outdoors. I purchased a Forax Hp40 Mulcher for my mini excavator. Kayla Patterson is who I dealt with from the beginning until I received it at my house. She has been wonderful to work with and looking forward to working with her with any other orders I purchase. Kayla answered any questions I had and kept me updated throughout the whole process, can’t say it enough just a wonderful person to work with!!
These are great feeders if you don’t have any feral hogs but if the hogs tear off the wiring harness from the timer to the feeder motor, you’re disabled. Then, if you ask for help from Outback, they refer you to the dealer but really you’re on your own for parts and repairs.
I have three Outback feeders that work as designed. They’re 13 years old and have always served well but this feeder misses the mark by a very high margin. I’d NEVER buy this product again.
Feeders need to be dependable and this unit is not.
This is my first experience with Ripping It Outdoors. Fortunately I got Dillion as a representative and everything from sales to shipping was spot on..
Thanks Dillion for your help!!
The only thing is when hooking up the actuator on my ATV. The wire is long going to the plug in. What has happened in the past about this. Is their video showing the usage of the control?
I had a guy from a shop come cut the shafts and hook me up. It went well. I've been using the mulcher and the tractor saw on my two tractors and having fun.
