The Firminator G3 allows you to disc, seed, and cultipack at the same time or one at a time. One hook up with one piece of equipment to do all your food plot tillage and planting. The Firminator food plot implement is the ideal piece of equipment for all food plots and deer management needs. The Firminator will do all the necessary work of planting from start to finish. From discing new field sites with lots of debris to no-till fields and conservation plating it's perfect.
The main pitch adjustment is controlled through the top link of the three point connection. By shortening the top link adjustment, the Firminator is leaned more heavily onto its disc assembly and provides a deeper cut. A mid range setting allows for great all-in-one applications. By lengthening the top link even more, just the cultipacker will be at work. Disc angles are adjusted easily by the removal of a pin and sliding the pivoting disc beam to one of many holes on an arc: Choose from straight, 5, 10, 15, and 20 degree angle settings. Set the aggressiveness of the disc angles suitable to loosen your particular soil type and situation. Using straight or a minimal angle for lightly opening thatch and soil to perform overseeding without disturbing existing forages or “no-till” type seedings.
The disc blades of the Firminator food plot implement are heavy, 18″, notched 9-gauge steel. Disc blades are spaced at 6" spacing with custom made iron disc spools, disc blade scrapers to prevent mud or vegetation build-up and an adjustable center-ripper shank. This shank is depth adjustable, and removes with two pins.
The cultipacker is a very important component for proper food plot installation. The heavy, notched, cast-iron cultipacker wheels are proven to eliminate air space, pulverize clods and level the soil while providing a beautifully prepared, firm seedbed. This is essential for achieving high germination rates. The Firminator got its name from the resulting seed bed that it produces! Each unit is equipped with cultipacker scrapers to keep the assembly clean and rolling in even less than ideal conditions.
The accu-seed system handles seeds of all sizes from the tiniest of clovers up to corn, soybeans, peas, sunflowers and everything in between! The system is ground driven, the seed is metered out relative to the speed you are traveling. When the Firminator stops rolling, the seed stops falling. No more wasted, expensive seed! Fill the seed hopper and adjust the metering openings by moving the linkage handle on the back of the seed box. An indicator on the handle shows the seed size selections in one-sixteenth inch graduations. Simply set the size for the largest seed in the hopper, and the metering system will dispense the seed at the generally accepted rate.
An optional seed hopper agitator is available. This agitator is useful for keeping seed thoroughly mixed and preventing small seeds from sifting through too quickly when custom mixing seeds of extreme size differences.

I've started using the mulcher I on several parcels of land 10 acres . I have grind down a couple of 14 inch stumps. Caution the mount bracket behind the mulcher motor exhaust gets extremely hot even with gloves on . But the unit so far seems to works very good it's well put together.
The Firminator G3 is s heavy duty quality machine. The discs worked extremely well and planting and culti-packing is very smooth and easy. Working with Dillon at Ripping It Outdoors was a very good experience and seamless transaction.
After spending way to much money for forest mulching services I discovered this wonderful machine. It's not a giant powerhouse forest mulcher, but it does everything a property owner needs to maintain a forested property. I wish I would have found it sooner.
The Firminator is well built and functions well. I am having some trouble while planting mixed size seeds. Next time out I’ll try setting it so only the smaller seeds drop out the open it up for the larger seeds.
easy buying process and great communication. Mulcher works great, easily clears overgrown brush and even mulched a 5" thick mulberry tree fairly easily. running it off of my old 331 bobcat with no problem powering the drum at all. Only small issue which isn't a big deal is that the supplied hoses are about 16" too short to operate a full range of motion.
Over all built well. I like it is all cast iron and metal and not plastic. Had to modify fertilizer disc mount to fit correctly, nothing major, a little grinding. I modified the center link hitch point to accommodate my John Deere quick hitch. Have yet to plant with it but I’m sure it will work perfect. Love the grease fittings everywhere. Reminds me of the old farm equipment I grew up on, and still use periodically.
My firminator RT was delivered in good condition in ND. I will be using it next week. I have a 45 HP John Deere tractor that is supposed to lift 2000 lb but really struggles to lift this 6 foot firminator RT. I will just have to use in as a two pass operation for now.
I do wish there was a better operating manual for this unit. Maybe that is something you can work on.
I will give you an update once I start using it in a few days.
Great piece of equipment. Performs far better than I expected. One piece of advice - if property is significantly overgrown, consider the tractor attachment first to bring down the over growth and then switch to the UTV attachment to maintain property. No complaints worked perfectly.
This is my first experience with Ripping It Outdoors. Fortunately I got Dillion as a representative and everything from sales to shipping was spot on..
Thanks Dillion for your help!!
The only thing is when hooking up the actuator on my ATV. The wire is long going to the plug in. What has happened in the past about this. Is their video showing the usage of the control?
I had a guy from a shop come cut the shafts and hook me up. It went well. I've been using the mulcher and the tractor saw on my two tractors and having fun.
i love it, i'm a little inexperianced with it but i'll learn, i've never messed with chemicals much.
instead of putting it on an atv, i put it on a skid steer
We bought a 6' G3 last year and it worked well. We were missing the handle for seed adjuster on 1st one and they next day aired it. Just ordered an 8 ' model to go with it. Dillon is great to work with. Hope this one works out as well.
