Fecon Red Line Log Grapple | Model LG57 | Opening Width 57" | 10–20 GPM | For Mini Skid Steer
DESCRIPTION
The Fecon Red Line LG57 Log Grapple is a heavy-duty mini skid steer attachment engineered for dependable handling of logs, timber, brush, and other bulky materials on demanding jobsites. Its generous 57-inch opening, serrated interlocking jaws, and tined cradle provide secure control of irregular loads during lifting, stacking, loading, and placement. The 360-degree rotating grapple helps position material precisely without repeatedly repositioning the carrier, while the heavy-duty push bar assists with tree and log control. Standard rope bollards provide a practical point for guiding rope lines during tree work. A bolt-on mount supports straightforward carrier integration, while protected hydraulic routing helps simplify service. With a 375 lb operating weight and 10–20 GPM hydraulic flow requirement, the LG57 is an excellent choice for forestry, land clearing, storm cleanup, right-of-way maintenance, rural property work, and construction sites where compact equipment needs serious material-handling capability.
Key Features
Heavy-Duty Log Handling Built for demanding mini skid steer log handling, the LG57 securely grabs, lifts, moves, stacks, and positions logs, timber, and bulky materials across forestry, land-clearing, and cleanup applications.

360-Degree Rotating Grapple The 360-degree rotating grapple improves positioning flexibility, allowing operators to orient logs and materials precisely without constantly repositioning the mini skid steer.
Serrated Interlocking Jaws Durable serrated jaws grip uneven logs securely and work with the cradle to help maintain control during lifting, transport, loading, and placement of heavy or irregular timber.
Tined Cradle Design The tined cradle improves load balance and support, helping keep logs stable in both vertical and horizontal handling positions for controlled movement around demanding jobsites.
Heavy-Duty Push Bar A rugged push bar helps operators control and guide trees and logs during clearing operations, adding practical support when working around standing timber and fallen material.
Rope Bollards Standard Integrated rope bollards provide a convenient anchoring and guiding point for rope lines, helping operators direct falling trees or manage heavy logs during land-clearing work.
Bolt-On Mount Capability The bolt-on mount configuration supports carrier-specific installation and helps provide a secure connection between the LG57 and compatible mini skid steer equipment.
10–20 GPM Hydraulic Flow Designed for 10–20 GPM hydraulic flow, the LG57 is matched to compatible mini skid steers requiring dependable auxiliary hydraulic performance for attachment operation.
Compact 375 lb Design At just 375 lb, the grapple delivers serious log-handling capability while remaining appropriately sized for mini skid steer applications where attachment weight and maneuverability matter.
Protected Hydraulic Routing Streamlined hydraulic routing helps protect key components while supporting easier inspections and routine service, keeping the attachment ready for demanding field conditions.
Tow-Hitch Receiver The integrated tow-hitch receiver adds versatility by allowing operators to move a compatible trailer or chipper around the jobsite without changing attachments.
Forestry-Ready Construction Heavy-duty welded construction is engineered for professional forestry, storm cleanup, land clearing, construction, and right-of-way applications where durability and dependable handling are essential.
Optional Hydraulic Rotation An optional hydraulic rotation system provides enhanced operator control when precise positioning is required, making the LG57 adaptable to different material-handling preferences and jobsite demands.
Mini Skid Steer Compatibility Purpose-built for mini skid steers, the LG57 combines compact-machine compatibility with a wide grapple opening and robust construction for professional log and timber handling.

I've started using the mulcher I on several parcels of land 10 acres . I have grind down a couple of 14 inch stumps. Caution the mount bracket behind the mulcher motor exhaust gets extremely hot even with gloves on . But the unit so far seems to works very good it's well put together.
The Firminator G3 is s heavy duty quality machine. The discs worked extremely well and planting and culti-packing is very smooth and easy. Working with Dillon at Ripping It Outdoors was a very good experience and seamless transaction.
The week before leaving for my mule deer hunt in Wyoming, I seeded the area surrounding the new runway at Wertheimer Airport in Norman.
This past Tuesday, I returned to finish the job and was pleased to see that the seed I planted just two weeks earlier was already germinating and coming up nicely.
These pictures show the freshly seeded areas alongside those planted two weeks ago. It’s a great comparison and a good example of what proper seedbed preparation and planting can accomplish.
I used my Ferminator G-3, which is one impressive piece of equipment. It prepares the seedbed, plants the seed, smooths the soil, and firms everything up for good seed-to-soil contact—all in one efficient operation.
I’ve owned and operated several no-till drills over the years, but I can say without hesitation that the Ferminator is the most efficient and versatile seeding machine I’ve ever owned.
There’s something pretty satisfying about returning to a job and seeing those first green shoots coming through the ground. That’s when you know your hard work is paying off!
Just got my Buffalo Turbine! Love it. Took a little bit to get used to getting the right angle for the nozzle, but not a problem. Side note, works much better if the frame is level as much as possible.
Love it!

Seems to be in order delivery wasn't able to use lift gate but tractor was able to take pallet off the truck bed. No damage to machine after visual check. won't know how it runs until rain stops.
Staff at RippingitOutdoors was very quick to call and double check the type of backet needed for the unit to ensure the online order matched( to fit my skid steer quick attachment on my l2501 Kubota). Explained the teeth & belt could be ordered through them directly over the phone when/if needed as well as selling other types of custom made brackets for Utv's ect. All around Great customer service and would purchase from again.
After spending way to much money for forest mulching services I discovered this wonderful machine. It's not a giant powerhouse forest mulcher, but it does everything a property owner needs to maintain a forested property. I wish I would have found it sooner.
The Firminator is well built and functions well. I am having some trouble while planting mixed size seeds. Next time out I’ll try setting it so only the smaller seeds drop out the open it up for the larger seeds.
easy buying process and great communication. Mulcher works great, easily clears overgrown brush and even mulched a 5" thick mulberry tree fairly easily. running it off of my old 331 bobcat with no problem powering the drum at all. Only small issue which isn't a big deal is that the supplied hoses are about 16" too short to operate a full range of motion.
Over all built well. I like it is all cast iron and metal and not plastic. Had to modify fertilizer disc mount to fit correctly, nothing major, a little grinding. I modified the center link hitch point to accommodate my John Deere quick hitch. Have yet to plant with it but I’m sure it will work perfect. Love the grease fittings everywhere. Reminds me of the old farm equipment I grew up on, and still use periodically.
My firminator RT was delivered in good condition in ND. I will be using it next week. I have a 45 HP John Deere tractor that is supposed to lift 2000 lb but really struggles to lift this 6 foot firminator RT. I will just have to use in as a two pass operation for now.
I do wish there was a better operating manual for this unit. Maybe that is something you can work on.
I will give you an update once I start using it in a few days.
Great piece of equipment. Performs far better than I expected. One piece of advice - if property is significantly overgrown, consider the tractor attachment first to bring down the over growth and then switch to the UTV attachment to maintain property. No complaints worked perfectly.
seeds come out way to fast at lowest setting when planting alfalfa literally the only reason I bought it now I can't even use it and I can't return it so I'm stuck with it for the price you pay you would think it would work!
It’s built solid. It handles Field grass hip high pretty well. With the maintaining the field grass after the first cut, the pasture field is starting to look like a lawn. The 84 inch with the best thing to get for 8 acres. It’s best to order belts for back up in the event if the belts were to break. But overall, I like the product quality is good.
When I think of ripping it outdoors something else comes to mind, but I digress. This spreader is awesome. Works like a champ. The hopper is big enough to do my 1 acre lot for my applications. Just load once and go. I would highly recommend this spreader. It saves a ton of time and is a quality product.
