DESCRIPTION

The HEX Harvest Felling Head is a purpose‑built forestry attachment engineered for precision tree felling, cross‑cutting, and timber handling. With a 59.1 in (1500 mm) frame width and a compact, reinforced design, it delivers the perfect balance of strength and maneuverability for 8–14 ton excavators or purpose‑built forestry carriers.

Equipped with a vane‑type, radio‑controlled rotator, the HEX Harvest ensures smooth, accurate positioning of stems during felling and loading. Its automatic saw chain tensioning system reduces downtime and guarantees consistent cutting performance, while the 67–75 cm bar length and 0.404" chain pitch provide reliable cutting power across a wide range of tree diameters.

The head is capable of handling trees up to 750 mm diameter, making it suitable for both thinning operations and full tree harvesting. With a lightweight build of 395 kg (without rotator and link), it minimizes stress on the carrier machine while maintaining durability through high‑strength steel construction.
