The included 24" extension provides a convenient mounting configuration for compatible milking stands. With a 7 1/2" maximum opening, it is designed specifically for sheep and goats while supporting controlled, comfortable positioning during milking. Built for daily dairy use, the Sydell 1050B combines functional design with dependable construction. Made in the U.S.A., it is an ideal choice for small dairy farms, goat dairies, sheep dairies, and livestock operations seeking reliable sheep and goat milking equipment.
Key Features
Automatic Head Locking The auto head-locking mechanism secures the animal as it enters the milking stand, helping provide hands-free control and consistent positioning. This design allows operators to focus more directly on milking while minimizing manual head restraint during routine sheep and goat milking.
24" Mounting Extension The 24" extension provides the specified extended mounting configuration for the Sydell 1050B. Designed to be added to a compatible milking stand, it helps create a practical setup for operators looking to improve animal positioning and workflow in sheep and goat dairy applications.
Sheep & Goat Compatible Designed for sheep and goats, this milking stanchion provides controlled head positioning for small-ruminant dairy operations. Its purpose-built configuration makes it suitable for goat milking and sheep milking applications where secure, repeatable animal positioning is important.
Milking Stand Mount Mounts to a milking stand to create a dedicated restraint point for sheep or goats. The stand-mounted configuration helps streamline the milking routine by keeping the animal positioned in a consistent location while the operator performs regular dairy tasks.
7 1/2" Maximum Opening 7 1/2" widest opening provides a defined head-entry dimension for sheep and goats. This specification helps buyers evaluate fit before installation and provides a clear dimensional reference when selecting the Sydell 1050B for an existing small-ruminant milking stand.
Hands-Free Animal Control Hands-free positioning helps reduce the amount of active restraint required once the animal is properly engaged with the head-locking mechanism. This can support a smoother milking workflow for operators handling sheep or goats during repeated daily milking sessions.
Daily Dairy Use Built for daily milking environments, the 1050B is designed around the practical demands of routine sheep and goat dairy work. Its focused stand-mount design provides a dedicated solution for operators seeking functional livestock restraint equipment for regular milking operations.
Consistent Positioning Consistent animal positioning helps keep sheep or goats properly aligned at the milking stand. Maintaining a repeatable position can make routine milking tasks more organized and efficient, particularly in operations where animals are processed through the same stand on a regular schedule.
Efficient Milking Workflow Improves milking workflow by combining stand mounting with automatic head locking. Once the animal enters and engages the stanchion, the locking action helps maintain positioning so the operator can concentrate on milking rather than repeatedly managing animal movement.
Small-Ruminant Design Purpose-built for small ruminants, the Sydell 1050B is tailored to sheep and goat milking applications rather than general livestock restraint. This makes it a specialized equipment choice for dairy farms and producers working specifically with sheep and goats.
Easy Stand Integration Designed for stand attachment, the stanchion can be incorporated into an existing compatible milking stand setup. This provides a straightforward equipment-upgrade option for producers who want automatic head control without replacing their entire milking stand configuration.
Controlled Head Restraint Secure head positioning helps keep the animal aligned during the milking process. By controlling head movement at the stand, the stanchion supports a more predictable working position for operators handling sheep or goats during routine dairy procedures.
Made in the USA Proudly made in the U.S.A., the Sydell 1050B reflects domestic manufacturing and established livestock-equipment expertise. It is designed for producers seeking purpose-built sheep and goat equipment from a recognized manufacturer serving the small-ruminant industry.
Sydell Model 1050B Sydell 1050B model provides a specific equipment configuration for buyers searching for an auto head locking milking stanchion with a 24" extension. The identifiable model number simplifies equipment selection, replacement planning, and product matching for compatible milking setups.

Customer Reviews
Overall rating: 4.7 / 5 from 104 reviews.
I've started using the mulcher I on several parcels of land 10 acres . I have grind down a couple of 14 inch stumps. Caution the mount bracket behind the mulcher motor exhaust gets extremely hot even with gloves on . But the unit so far seems to works very good it's well put together.
The Firminator G3 is s heavy duty quality machine. The discs worked extremely well and planting and culti-packing is very smooth and easy. Working with Dillon at Ripping It Outdoors was a very good experience and seamless transaction.
The week before leaving for my mule deer hunt in Wyoming, I seeded the area surrounding the new runway at Wertheimer Airport in Norman.
This past Tuesday, I returned to finish the job and was pleased to see that the seed I planted just two weeks earlier was already germinating and coming up nicely.
These pictures show the freshly seeded areas alongside those planted two weeks ago. It’s a great comparison and a good example of what proper seedbed preparation and planting can accomplish.
I used my Ferminator G-3, which is one impressive piece of equipment. It prepares the seedbed, plants the seed, smooths the soil, and firms everything up for good seed-to-soil contact—all in one efficient operation.
I’ve owned and operated several no-till drills over the years, but I can say without hesitation that the Ferminator is the most efficient and versatile seeding machine I’ve ever owned.
There’s something pretty satisfying about returning to a job and seeing those first green shoots coming through the ground. That’s when you know your hard work is paying off!
Just got my Buffalo Turbine! Love it. Took a little bit to get used to getting the right angle for the nozzle, but not a problem. Side note, works much better if the frame is level as much as possible.
Love it!

Seems to be in order delivery wasn't able to use lift gate but tractor was able to take pallet off the truck bed. No damage to machine after visual check. won't know how it runs until rain stops.
Staff at RippingitOutdoors was very quick to call and double check the type of backet needed for the unit to ensure the online order matched( to fit my skid steer quick attachment on my l2501 Kubota). Explained the teeth & belt could be ordered through them directly over the phone when/if needed as well as selling other types of custom made brackets for Utv's ect. All around Great customer service and would purchase from again.
After spending way to much money for forest mulching services I discovered this wonderful machine. It's not a giant powerhouse forest mulcher, but it does everything a property owner needs to maintain a forested property. I wish I would have found it sooner.
The Firminator is well built and functions well. I am having some trouble while planting mixed size seeds. Next time out I’ll try setting it so only the smaller seeds drop out the open it up for the larger seeds.
easy buying process and great communication. Mulcher works great, easily clears overgrown brush and even mulched a 5" thick mulberry tree fairly easily. running it off of my old 331 bobcat with no problem powering the drum at all. Only small issue which isn't a big deal is that the supplied hoses are about 16" too short to operate a full range of motion.
Over all built well. I like it is all cast iron and metal and not plastic. Had to modify fertilizer disc mount to fit correctly, nothing major, a little grinding. I modified the center link hitch point to accommodate my John Deere quick hitch. Have yet to plant with it but I’m sure it will work perfect. Love the grease fittings everywhere. Reminds me of the old farm equipment I grew up on, and still use periodically.
My firminator RT was delivered in good condition in ND. I will be using it next week. I have a 45 HP John Deere tractor that is supposed to lift 2000 lb but really struggles to lift this 6 foot firminator RT. I will just have to use in as a two pass operation for now.
I do wish there was a better operating manual for this unit. Maybe that is something you can work on.
I will give you an update once I start using it in a few days.
Great piece of equipment. Performs far better than I expected. One piece of advice - if property is significantly overgrown, consider the tractor attachment first to bring down the over growth and then switch to the UTV attachment to maintain property. No complaints worked perfectly.
seeds come out way to fast at lowest setting when planting alfalfa literally the only reason I bought it now I can't even use it and I can't return it so I'm stuck with it for the price you pay you would think it would work!
It’s built solid. It handles Field grass hip high pretty well. With the maintaining the field grass after the first cut, the pasture field is starting to look like a lawn. The 84 inch with the best thing to get for 8 acres. It’s best to order belts for back up in the event if the belts were to break. But overall, I like the product quality is good.
When I think of ripping it outdoors something else comes to mind, but I digress. This spreader is awesome. Works like a champ. The hopper is big enough to do my 1 acre lot for my applications. Just load once and go. I would highly recommend this spreader. It saves a ton of time and is a quality product.
Put this on Kubota 900 with winch hookup. This thing is a beast (within reason). I named it ‘Homie”, cause Homie don’t play. It will take care of stuff up to about 2” in diameter. You still have to remember that this is NOT like the ones on a bobcat or larger machinery. It does have its limits. But all in all I am very satisfied with it. Now on to the good part! The staff at Ripping It are outstanding! Especially Kayla in the office. She has gone above and beyond on making sure everything went right, from ordering to questions about installation. This young lady would be of great value at ANY company ! Her knowledge and personality are like over the top. This is my first experience with Ripping It Outdoors and I can only say positive things about them. With all that being said, I do fill out reviews on things I buy, AND I give a honest review. If it’s bad then you will know it. But if it’s good, well I tell the truth ! Again Kayla, from the bottom of my heart, a great big THANK YOU for all your help and just talking to you. I feel like we’ve know each other for years!
TENT is easy to put up , material is tuff as told....only complaint is that i wish the bottom had about 3 to 4 inches overlap towards the inside so i could install a 2 x4 or something to help hold the tent down in high winds we have here in virginia thanks
