DESCRIPTION
Keep essential minerals clean, dry, protected, and accessible with the Sydell 50 lb Salt & Mineral Feeder, designed specifically for sheep, goats, lambs, kids, and small livestock. The feeder provides a generous 50 lb capacity and a 12" × 12" access opening, giving animals convenient access while reducing crowding. Its elevated 4-leg base positions the opening 19" above the ground, helping minimize contamination from mud, moisture, and debris. The mineral-holding top is made from durable poly, keeping salt and minerals away from metal to help resist corrosion. A unique poly fin-style rotating top turns freely with the wind to help deflect rain and snow from the opening, keeping minerals drier without covers or manual adjustments. Ideal for sheep barns, goat pens, lambing barns, kidding areas, corrals, pastures, and fence-line feeding stations, this durable livestock feeder is Made in the USA by Sydell.
Key Features
50 lb Mineral Capacity Holds up to 50 lb of salt or mineral supplement, reducing the need for frequent refilling and providing a dependable feeding solution for sheep, goats, lambs, kids, and small livestock.
12" × 12" Access Opening Provides a practical feeding area for sheep and goats while supporting comfortable mineral access and helping reduce unnecessary crowding around the feeder.
Durable 4-Leg Base The sturdy four-leg design provides a stable elevated feeding station for barns, pens, corrals, pastures, and other livestock feeding environments.
19" Opening Height Positions the mineral access opening 19" above ground level, helping keep salt and minerals away from mud, standing moisture, dirt, and ground-level debris.
Poly Mineral-Holding Top Durable poly construction keeps salt and mineral supplements from contacting metal surfaces, helping reduce corrosion caused by prolonged mineral exposure.
Wind-Deflecting Rotating Top The poly fin-style top rotates freely with changing wind direction, helping deflect rain and snow away from the mineral access opening.
Weather-Resistant Design Built to help protect mineral supplements from outdoor exposure, supporting cleaner and more usable salt and minerals in changing weather conditions.
Corrosion-Resistant Construction Materials are selected for demanding livestock environments where repeated exposure to salt and mineral supplements can accelerate metal corrosion.
Sheep & Goat Feeding Solution Purpose-built for sheep and goats, making it an excellent choice for daily mineral supplementation in breeding operations, family farms, and livestock facilities.
Ideal for Barns & Pens Fits naturally into sheep barns, goat pens, lambing barns, kidding areas, small livestock corrals, and other organized feeding setups.
Pasture & Fence-Line Ready Elevated construction makes this mineral feeder well suited for pasture feeding areas and fence-line mineral stations where ground contamination can be a concern.
Reduced Mineral Contamination Elevated access and weather-deflecting features help minimize exposure to mud, moisture, rain, snow, and debris for cleaner mineral supplementation.
No Manual Weather Adjustment The freely rotating top responds to changing wind direction automatically, helping protect minerals without requiring covers, flaps, or frequent manual repositioning.
Made in the USA Proudly manufactured by Sydell, a third-generation, veteran-owned, woman-owned family business with more than 45 years of experience producing sheep and goat equipment.
Multiple Finish Options Available with a standard painted leg finish or galvanized finish on applicable metal components for an additional corrosion-resistant option.

Customer Reviews
Overall rating: 4.6 / 5 from 88 reviews.
I've started using the mulcher I on several parcels of land 10 acres . I have grind down a couple of 14 inch stumps. Caution the mount bracket behind the mulcher motor exhaust gets extremely hot even with gloves on . But the unit so far seems to works very good it's well put together.
The Firminator G3 is s heavy duty quality machine. The discs worked extremely well and planting and culti-packing is very smooth and easy. Working with Dillon at Ripping It Outdoors was a very good experience and seamless transaction.
After spending way to much money for forest mulching services I discovered this wonderful machine. It's not a giant powerhouse forest mulcher, but it does everything a property owner needs to maintain a forested property. I wish I would have found it sooner.
The Firminator is well built and functions well. I am having some trouble while planting mixed size seeds. Next time out I’ll try setting it so only the smaller seeds drop out the open it up for the larger seeds.
easy buying process and great communication. Mulcher works great, easily clears overgrown brush and even mulched a 5" thick mulberry tree fairly easily. running it off of my old 331 bobcat with no problem powering the drum at all. Only small issue which isn't a big deal is that the supplied hoses are about 16" too short to operate a full range of motion.
Over all built well. I like it is all cast iron and metal and not plastic. Had to modify fertilizer disc mount to fit correctly, nothing major, a little grinding. I modified the center link hitch point to accommodate my John Deere quick hitch. Have yet to plant with it but I’m sure it will work perfect. Love the grease fittings everywhere. Reminds me of the old farm equipment I grew up on, and still use periodically.
My firminator RT was delivered in good condition in ND. I will be using it next week. I have a 45 HP John Deere tractor that is supposed to lift 2000 lb but really struggles to lift this 6 foot firminator RT. I will just have to use in as a two pass operation for now.
I do wish there was a better operating manual for this unit. Maybe that is something you can work on.
I will give you an update once I start using it in a few days.
Great piece of equipment. Performs far better than I expected. One piece of advice - if property is significantly overgrown, consider the tractor attachment first to bring down the over growth and then switch to the UTV attachment to maintain property. No complaints worked perfectly.
Hi, my name is Ken. I’ve had a great experience with Ripping It Outdoors. I purchased a Forax Hp40 Mulcher for my mini excavator. Kayla Patterson is who I dealt with from the beginning until I received it at my house. She has been wonderful to work with and looking forward to working with her with any other orders I purchase. Kayla answered any questions I had and kept me updated throughout the whole process, can’t say it enough just a wonderful person to work with!!
These are great feeders if you don’t have any feral hogs but if the hogs tear off the wiring harness from the timer to the feeder motor, you’re disabled. Then, if you ask for help from Outback, they refer you to the dealer but really you’re on your own for parts and repairs.
I have three Outback feeders that work as designed. They’re 13 years old and have always served well but this feeder misses the mark by a very high margin. I’d NEVER buy this product again.
Feeders need to be dependable and this unit is not.
This is my first experience with Ripping It Outdoors. Fortunately I got Dillion as a representative and everything from sales to shipping was spot on..
Thanks Dillion for your help!!
The only thing is when hooking up the actuator on my ATV. The wire is long going to the plug in. What has happened in the past about this. Is their video showing the usage of the control?
I had a guy from a shop come cut the shafts and hook me up. It went well. I've been using the mulcher and the tractor saw on my two tractors and having fun.
i love it, i'm a little inexperianced with it but i'll learn, i've never messed with chemicals much.
instead of putting it on an atv, i put it on a skid steer
