Engine: 13 HP Honda electric start for reliable operation.
Pump: 3” x 3” centrifugal pump delivers 400 GPM and 64 PSI for effective spraying.
Powerful Jet Agitation: 2” I.D. jets create a strong rolling action, mixing a full load inless than a minute.
Adjustable Spray Pressure: Allows precise trimming near houses, walkways, and mulch beds.
Coverage: Seeds up to 5,300 square feet per load.
Quick Spray Time: 15 minutes per full tank.
Easy Loading & Transport: Front fork slots for simple loading/unloading.
Standard Hose: 100 feet of 1 1/4” I.D. hose with three nozzles (hydroseeding, medium, and straight).
PUMP
This unit uses a G-13H centrifugal pump with 400 gallons a minute of flow and 64 P.S.I. of pressure. This pump was designed specifically for hydro seeding. The housing material is cast and it is very low maintenance. There are no grease fittings and the only maintenance required is to winterize if at the end of the season if it is stored where temperatures go below freezing. The pump impeller mounds on the end of the engine shaft so there is no power loss. Typically it can operate for 5 to 10 years with no maintenance. This is one of the few or perhaps the only hydroseeding pump on the market that can run dry without damaging the seals.
ENGINE
This unit comes with a 13 H.P. Honda electric start engine. This has proved to be a very reliable engine with a long life. The engine has a two year warranty and service for the engine is available.
HOSE
This unit comes standard with 100 ft of 1 1/4″ I. D. hose. The hose we use is both strong and light weight. It is made from a poly material with a spiral reinforcement. Additional hose is available in 50 feet or 100 feet sections. The unit will handle up to 200 feet of hose.
BALE TRAY
This unit comes equipped with a bale tray that is molded into the tank. The opening is 16″ with a hinged fill lid. The bale tray makes it easy to add mulch and other materials with a minimum of spillage. Minimizing wasted material can add up to big savings over time.
TRAILER
The HS-400-EH-P is permanently attached to a DOT approved double axle trailer with brakes on both axles, DOT lighting, a breakaway, safety chains and an on-board test box for the breakaway battery. The trailer has a GVW of 7000 pounds and is 14’2″ long an 84″ wide. It is available with either a 2 5/16″ ball hitch or a pintle hitch.

I've started using the mulcher I on several parcels of land 10 acres . I have grind down a couple of 14 inch stumps. Caution the mount bracket behind the mulcher motor exhaust gets extremely hot even with gloves on . But the unit so far seems to works very good it's well put together.
The Firminator G3 is s heavy duty quality machine. The discs worked extremely well and planting and culti-packing is very smooth and easy. Working with Dillon at Ripping It Outdoors was a very good experience and seamless transaction.
After spending way to much money for forest mulching services I discovered this wonderful machine. It's not a giant powerhouse forest mulcher, but it does everything a property owner needs to maintain a forested property. I wish I would have found it sooner.
The Firminator is well built and functions well. I am having some trouble while planting mixed size seeds. Next time out I’ll try setting it so only the smaller seeds drop out the open it up for the larger seeds.
easy buying process and great communication. Mulcher works great, easily clears overgrown brush and even mulched a 5" thick mulberry tree fairly easily. running it off of my old 331 bobcat with no problem powering the drum at all. Only small issue which isn't a big deal is that the supplied hoses are about 16" too short to operate a full range of motion.
Over all built well. I like it is all cast iron and metal and not plastic. Had to modify fertilizer disc mount to fit correctly, nothing major, a little grinding. I modified the center link hitch point to accommodate my John Deere quick hitch. Have yet to plant with it but I’m sure it will work perfect. Love the grease fittings everywhere. Reminds me of the old farm equipment I grew up on, and still use periodically.
My firminator RT was delivered in good condition in ND. I will be using it next week. I have a 45 HP John Deere tractor that is supposed to lift 2000 lb but really struggles to lift this 6 foot firminator RT. I will just have to use in as a two pass operation for now.
I do wish there was a better operating manual for this unit. Maybe that is something you can work on.
I will give you an update once I start using it in a few days.
Great piece of equipment. Performs far better than I expected. One piece of advice - if property is significantly overgrown, consider the tractor attachment first to bring down the over growth and then switch to the UTV attachment to maintain property. No complaints worked perfectly.
Hi, my name is Ken. I’ve had a great experience with Ripping It Outdoors. I purchased a Forax Hp40 Mulcher for my mini excavator. Kayla Patterson is who I dealt with from the beginning until I received it at my house. She has been wonderful to work with and looking forward to working with her with any other orders I purchase. Kayla answered any questions I had and kept me updated throughout the whole process, can’t say it enough just a wonderful person to work with!!
These are great feeders if you don’t have any feral hogs but if the hogs tear off the wiring harness from the timer to the feeder motor, you’re disabled. Then, if you ask for help from Outback, they refer you to the dealer but really you’re on your own for parts and repairs.
I have three Outback feeders that work as designed. They’re 13 years old and have always served well but this feeder misses the mark by a very high margin. I’d NEVER buy this product again.
Feeders need to be dependable and this unit is not.
This is my first experience with Ripping It Outdoors. Fortunately I got Dillion as a representative and everything from sales to shipping was spot on..
Thanks Dillion for your help!!
The only thing is when hooking up the actuator on my ATV. The wire is long going to the plug in. What has happened in the past about this. Is their video showing the usage of the control?
I had a guy from a shop come cut the shafts and hook me up. It went well. I've been using the mulcher and the tractor saw on my two tractors and having fun.
i love it, i'm a little inexperianced with it but i'll learn, i've never messed with chemicals much.
instead of putting it on an atv, i put it on a skid steer
