Orion-TR Smart 24/12-20A (240W) Isolated DC-DC Charger

The Orion-Tr Smart isolated DC-DC charger serves as a DC-DC battery charger or a power supply (also designed for use as a constant voltage source), offering a wide input and output voltage range. This is especially significant in the case of vehicles with a Euro 5 or Euro 6 smart alternator, which often supplies too low charging voltage even when the engine is running or when extended cable lengths, as is often the case in boats and RVs, lead to voltage drops. In such scenarios, precise and controlled charging is imperative to fully charge the service battery while protecting the starter/input battery from discharge.

Bluetooth Smart Enabled

  • Any Bluetooth-enabled smartphone, tablet, or other device can be used to monitor, change settings, and update the charger when new software features become available
  • Instant Readout: The VictronConnect App can display key data, including warnings and alarms, on the device list page without the need to connect to the product

Fully programmable

Adaptive 3-Stage Charge Algorithm: Bulk – Absorption – Float

  • For lead-acid batteries, it is important that during shallow discharges the absorption time is kept short to prevent overcharging of the battery. After a deep discharge, the absorption time is automatically increased to make sure that the battery is completely recharged
  • For lithium batteries, the absorption time is fixed; the default is 2 hours
  • Alternatively, a fixed output voltage can be chosen

Suitable for Use in Vehicles with a Smart Alternator (Euro 5 and Euro 6 Engines)

The built-in engine shutdown detection will stop the converter when the engine is not running. This prevents unwanted discharge of the starter battery (see manual for details).

Remote On/Off

A remote on/off switch or relay contact can be connected to a two-pole connector. Alternatively, the H terminal (right) of the two-pole connector can be switched to battery plus, or the L terminal (left) of the two-pole connector can be switched to battery minus (or the chassis of a vehicle, for example).

All Models Are Short Circuit Proof and Can Be Paralleled to Increase Output Current

An unlimited number of units can be connected in parallel.

High Temperature Protected

The output current will reduce at high ambient temperatures.

When installed with the screw terminals oriented downward.

Seems to be in order delivery wasn't able to use lift gate but tractor was able to take pallet off the truck bed. No damage to machine after visual check. won't know how it runs until rain stops. Staff at RippingitOutdoors was very quick to call and double check the type of backet needed for the unit to ensure the online order matched( to fit my skid steer quick attachment on my l2501 Kubota). Explained the teeth & belt could be ordered through them directly over the phone when/if needed as well as selling other types of custom made brackets for Utv's ect. All around Great customer service and would purchase from again.

easy buying process and great communication. Mulcher works great, easily clears overgrown brush and even mulched a 5" thick mulberry tree fairly easily. running it off of my old 331 bobcat with no problem powering the drum at all. Only small issue which isn't a big deal is that the supplied hoses are about 16" too short to operate a full range of motion.

Over all built well. I like it is all cast iron and metal and not plastic. Had to modify fertilizer disc mount to fit correctly, nothing major, a little grinding. I modified the center link hitch point to accommodate my John Deere quick hitch. Have yet to plant with it but I’m sure it will work perfect. Love the grease fittings everywhere. Reminds me of the old farm equipment I grew up on, and still use periodically.

My firminator RT was delivered in good condition in ND. I will be using it next week. I have a 45 HP John Deere tractor that is supposed to lift 2000 lb but really struggles to lift this 6 foot firminator RT. I will just have to use in as a two pass operation for now. I do wish there was a better operating manual for this unit. Maybe that is something you can work on. I will give you an update once I start using it in a few days.

Put this on Kubota 900 with winch hookup. This thing is a beast (within reason). I named it ‘Homie”, cause Homie don’t play. It will take care of stuff up to about 2” in diameter. You still have to remember that this is NOT like the ones on a bobcat or larger machinery. It does have its limits. But all in all I am very satisfied with it. Now on to the good part! The staff at Ripping It are outstanding! Especially Kayla in the office. She has gone above and beyond on making sure everything went right, from ordering to questions about installation. This young lady would be of great value at ANY company ! Her knowledge and personality are like over the top. This is my first experience with Ripping It Outdoors and I can only say positive things about them. With all that being said, I do fill out reviews on things I buy, AND I give a honest review. If it’s bad then you will know it. But if it’s good, well I tell the truth ! Again Kayla, from the bottom of my heart, a great big THANK YOU for all your help and just talking to you. TENT is easy to put up , material is tuff as told....only complaint is that i wish the bottom had about 3 to 4 inches overlap towards the inside so i could install a 2 x4 or something to help hold the tent down in high winds we have here in virginia thanks
