Designed for tractors with a minimum of 30 HP, the 70 HP gearbox with an overrunning clutch ensures smooth power transmission while preventing mechanical damage from sudden stops. The hammer knives are capable of shredding brush and prunings up to 2" in diameter, while optional Y blades are available for cutting weeds and lighter brush up to 1" in diameter.

A low-profile belt housing (23" high) enhances clearance and maneuverability, making the SFG-140 an ideal choice for operating in tight spaces such as vineyards and orchards. The slotted rear hatch allows for optional rake teeth installation, improving material pickup for better field maintenance.
