The Autel Dragonfish Nest is the world’s first fully automated eVTOL support system, designed for long-range operations and high-efficiency autonomous missions. This cutting-edge system integrates seamlessly with the Autel Dragonfish aircraft to provide autonomous takeoff, landing, recharging, and flight management, perfect for expansive inspections and large area coverage. With a range of up to 75 miles between units, the Dragonfish Nest can network with other Nests to create a continuous and flexible operational zone. The system supports multi-nest networking, allowing range extension up to 10.6 miles between base stations by adding Autel Repeaters. The Nest is capable of intelligent power swapping to keep the aircraft flying for all-day autonomous inspections, eliminating the need for manual intervention.
Built to withstand the harshest environments, the Dragonfish Nest features an IP54 rating, ensuring its ability to resist water, dust, and weather extremes. Real-time monitoring, environmental sensors, and temperature control ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations, while a backup UPS power supply guarantees continuous flight operations.

The Autel Remote Operations System consists of the Dragonfish, Dragonfish Nest, Dragonfish Repeater (optional), and Skycommand center to provide a full end-to-end solution for hands-off drone operation management.

- Environment Monitoring: The fully automatic operation mode uses multi-sensors and intelligent algorithms to monitor the Dragonfish, Nest, and other equipment. The Nest cooperates with the weather monitoring module and the external monitoring camera to collect real-time data on the surrounding environment, including temperature, humidity, wind direction, wind level, and rainfall to ensure safety and reliable flights.
- Temperature Control: The temperature control system can automatically adjust the internal temperature and humidity of the Nest to ensure the aircraft, batteries and other equipment are stored in the best conditions to improve their service life.
- Aircraft Management: Effectively manage the aircraft status, battery levels, and flight signal, and share data with the SkyCommand Center.
