The B & G Vulcan 9 is a great value sailing chartplotter designed for coastal cruising and club racing. This easy-to-use, intuitive 9-inch multi-touch screen is packed with B & G’s unique sailing features including SailSteer and RacePanel. Simply integrate with your existing system, expansion is simple as Vulcan is NMEA 2000®, Broadband Radar™, ForwardScan™ and autopilot ready; and features built-in 10Hz GPS and Wi-Fi.
Easy to use touch screen
We’ve designed our Vulcan chartplotters to be as intuitive as a tablet or smartphone. The low-profile, super-bright display is visible even in direct sunlight, and the responsive touch screen gives fingertip control, even in flying spray and a rough sea state. Pinch-to-zoom, swipe, and tap controls let you input waypoints and routes and view chart details with ease.
Simple to add Waypoints and Routes
Let Vulcan guide you safely to your destination: place waypoints and routes with a single tap on the chart and let Vulcan take you there with clear, intuitive graphics and data for guidance. Add a compatible chart card to benefit from auto-routing and let Vulcan’s intelligent software choose the best and safest route to your destination.
You can use Vulcan as a simple chartplotter as soon as you connect it to power, or for more advanced features, add to speed, depth, and wind instruments. Let Vulcan take care of the complex calculations – leaving you free to relax and enjoy the sailing.
A range of mounting options
Get up and running quickly: Vulcan chartplotters are optimized for sleek flush mounting, standing only 8mm proud of the bulkhead for a low-profile ‘glass helm’ look. Alternatively, mount in minutes using the supplied bracket on horizontal, vertical or overhead surfaces.
Autopilot Control
Put Vulcan at the heart of your boat and take control of your B & G autopilot from your Vulcan’s touchscreen. With an installed controller elsewhere, the intuitive controls can be accessed from any screen with a simple tap and allow you to alter course, tack, gybe, sail to wind or compass. Take advantage of the advanced sailing algorithms that make B & G Pilots as good as the best helmsman – all from your Vulcan’s touch screen.

I've started using the mulcher I on several parcels of land 10 acres . I have grind down a couple of 14 inch stumps. Caution the mount bracket behind the mulcher motor exhaust gets extremely hot even with gloves on . But the unit so far seems to works very good it's well put together.
The Firminator G3 is s heavy duty quality machine. The discs worked extremely well and planting and culti-packing is very smooth and easy. Working with Dillon at Ripping It Outdoors was a very good experience and seamless transaction.
After spending way to much money for forest mulching services I discovered this wonderful machine. It's not a giant powerhouse forest mulcher, but it does everything a property owner needs to maintain a forested property. I wish I would have found it sooner.
The Firminator is well built and functions well. I am having some trouble while planting mixed size seeds. Next time out I’ll try setting it so only the smaller seeds drop out the open it up for the larger seeds.
easy buying process and great communication. Mulcher works great, easily clears overgrown brush and even mulched a 5" thick mulberry tree fairly easily. running it off of my old 331 bobcat with no problem powering the drum at all. Only small issue which isn't a big deal is that the supplied hoses are about 16" too short to operate a full range of motion.
Over all built well. I like it is all cast iron and metal and not plastic. Had to modify fertilizer disc mount to fit correctly, nothing major, a little grinding. I modified the center link hitch point to accommodate my John Deere quick hitch. Have yet to plant with it but I’m sure it will work perfect. Love the grease fittings everywhere. Reminds me of the old farm equipment I grew up on, and still use periodically.
My firminator RT was delivered in good condition in ND. I will be using it next week. I have a 45 HP John Deere tractor that is supposed to lift 2000 lb but really struggles to lift this 6 foot firminator RT. I will just have to use in as a two pass operation for now.
I do wish there was a better operating manual for this unit. Maybe that is something you can work on.
I will give you an update once I start using it in a few days.
Great piece of equipment. Performs far better than I expected. One piece of advice - if property is significantly overgrown, consider the tractor attachment first to bring down the over growth and then switch to the UTV attachment to maintain property. No complaints worked perfectly.
Put this on Kubota 900 with winch hookup. This thing is a beast (within reason). I named it ‘Homie”, cause Homie don’t play. It will take care of stuff up to about 2” in diameter. You still have to remember that this is NOT like the ones on a bobcat or larger machinery. It does have its limits. But all in all I am very satisfied with it. Now on to the good part! The staff at Ripping It are outstanding! Especially Kayla in the office. She has gone above and beyond on making sure everything went right, from ordering to questions about installation. This young lady would be of great value at ANY company ! Her knowledge and personality are like over the top. This is my first experience with Ripping It Outdoors and I can only say positive things about them. With all that being said, I do fill out reviews on things I buy, AND I give a honest review. If it’s bad then you will know it. But if it’s good, well I tell the truth ! Again Kayla, from the bottom of my heart, a great big THANK YOU for all your help and just talking to you. I feel like we’ve know each other for years!
TENT is easy to put up , material is tuff as told....only complaint is that i wish the bottom had about 3 to 4 inches overlap towards the inside so i could install a 2 x4 or something to help hold the tent down in high winds we have here in virginia thanks
Hi, my name is Ken. I’ve had a great experience with Ripping It Outdoors. I purchased a Forax Hp40 Mulcher for my mini excavator. Kayla Patterson is who I dealt with from the beginning until I received it at my house. She has been wonderful to work with and looking forward to working with her with any other orders I purchase. Kayla answered any questions I had and kept me updated throughout the whole process, can’t say it enough just a wonderful person to work with!!
These are great feeders if you don’t have any feral hogs but if the hogs tear off the wiring harness from the timer to the feeder motor, you’re disabled. Then, if you ask for help from Outback, they refer you to the dealer but really you’re on your own for parts and repairs.
I have three Outback feeders that work as designed. They’re 13 years old and have always served well but this feeder misses the mark by a very high margin. I’d NEVER buy this product again.
Feeders need to be dependable and this unit is not.
This is my first experience with Ripping It Outdoors. Fortunately I got Dillion as a representative and everything from sales to shipping was spot on..
Thanks Dillion for your help!!
The only thing is when hooking up the actuator on my ATV. The wire is long going to the plug in. What has happened in the past about this. Is their video showing the usage of the control?
I had a guy from a shop come cut the shafts and hook me up. It went well. I've been using the mulcher and the tractor saw on my two tractors and having fun.
