Extech Portable Sucrose Brix Refractometer

This portable refractometer offers accurate, repeatable measurements based on light refraction in liquid. Ideal for monitoring sugar content in fruit juices, wine, milk, etc., this sucrose brix refractometer provides the percentage of dissolved sugar in liquid. Place 2 or 3 drops of sample liquid on the specially angled lens and then look through the adjustable eyepiece. Results are shown along an easy-to-read scale inside the eyepiece, and no power source is required for operation. The mirror tube is coated to guard against inaccuracies caused by body heat. Calibration screwdriver, calibration solution, and case included.
