DESCRIPTION
Take control of your landscape with the rugged precision of the Farmer Helper FME Series Commercial Flail Mower a light commercial-grade solution built for mowing grass, weeds, brush, and small saplings on uneven terrain. Whether you're maintaining parks, highways, orchards, or open fields, this flail mower delivers clean, consistent results with minimal debris throw, making it ideal for high-traffic and sensitive areas.
Engineered for tractors with 30 to 65 horsepower, the FME Series features a reinforced box channel frame and deck to prevent twisting and ensure long-term durability. Its powerful 65 HP cast-iron gearbox and multiple drive belts provide reliable power transfer to the blades, while the reverse rotor rotation enhances cutting efficiency and mulching performance.
Choose between standard hammer blades or optional “Y” blades for tailored cutting capabilities. The adjustable rear roller with mud scraper bar allows you to fine-tune cutting height from 0″ to 6″, while the large deck offset enables close mowing around trees, fences, and other obstacles. With a balanced rotor shaft and under-deck clump busters, the FME Series ensures smooth operation and a professional-grade finish every time.

Available in three working widths: 60", 68", and 78", providing flexible coverage for various mowing needs from tight spaces to wide-open fields.
Hammer blades (27 oz each) are standard, perfect for cutting and mulching brush, saplings up to 3" thick, and heavy vegetation.
Optional Y-blades (10.9 oz) offer a cleaner finish for mowing grass, weeds, and soft vegetation, great for parks, roadsides, and landscaped areas.
Equipped with a 65 HP cast-iron gearbox, built for commercial-duty performance with an oil-bath design to ensure long life and minimal maintenance.
Features 3 to 4 heavy-duty drive belts (depending on model) for dependable power transfer from the PTO to the rotor, reducing slippage and ensuring consistent blade rotation.
The reverse rotor spin direction pulls vegetation inward before mulching, reducing debris throw and creating a safer mowing environment.
Comes with a rear roller and height adjustment system (0–6") that allows precise control over cutting height and eliminates scalping on uneven terrain.
Designed with a 4mm thick steel housing and reinforced box channel frame to resist flexing and damage, even in rugged or brush-heavy conditions.
Offers 16” cutting offset from the tractor centerline, allowing easier mowing along fence lines, tree rows, buildings, and other obstacles.
Balanced 4.5” diameter rotor tube minimizes vibration and wear on bearings, ensuring smoother operation and longer service life.
Wide blade swing diameter of 14.5” delivers high inertia for efficient mulching and reduced engine strain during heavy-duty jobs.
Compatible with Category I or II 3-point hitches, ensuring fit with a broad range of tractors commonly used by small farms and municipalities.
Safety-focused design is ideal for use near structures, animals, and people perfect for parks, orchards, vineyards, and roadside maintenance.

I've started using the mulcher I on several parcels of land 10 acres . I have grind down a couple of 14 inch stumps. Caution the mount bracket behind the mulcher motor exhaust gets extremely hot even with gloves on . But the unit so far seems to works very good it's well put together.
The Firminator G3 is s heavy duty quality machine. The discs worked extremely well and planting and culti-packing is very smooth and easy. Working with Dillon at Ripping It Outdoors was a very good experience and seamless transaction.
After spending way to much money for forest mulching services I discovered this wonderful machine. It's not a giant powerhouse forest mulcher, but it does everything a property owner needs to maintain a forested property. I wish I would have found it sooner.
The Firminator is well built and functions well. I am having some trouble while planting mixed size seeds. Next time out I’ll try setting it so only the smaller seeds drop out the open it up for the larger seeds.
easy buying process and great communication. Mulcher works great, easily clears overgrown brush and even mulched a 5" thick mulberry tree fairly easily. running it off of my old 331 bobcat with no problem powering the drum at all. Only small issue which isn't a big deal is that the supplied hoses are about 16" too short to operate a full range of motion.
Over all built well. I like it is all cast iron and metal and not plastic. Had to modify fertilizer disc mount to fit correctly, nothing major, a little grinding. I modified the center link hitch point to accommodate my John Deere quick hitch. Have yet to plant with it but I’m sure it will work perfect. Love the grease fittings everywhere. Reminds me of the old farm equipment I grew up on, and still use periodically.
My firminator RT was delivered in good condition in ND. I will be using it next week. I have a 45 HP John Deere tractor that is supposed to lift 2000 lb but really struggles to lift this 6 foot firminator RT. I will just have to use in as a two pass operation for now.
I do wish there was a better operating manual for this unit. Maybe that is something you can work on.
I will give you an update once I start using it in a few days.
Great piece of equipment. Performs far better than I expected. One piece of advice - if property is significantly overgrown, consider the tractor attachment first to bring down the over growth and then switch to the UTV attachment to maintain property. No complaints worked perfectly.
These are great feeders if you don’t have any feral hogs but if the hogs tear off the wiring harness from the timer to the feeder motor, you’re disabled. Then, if you ask for help from Outback, they refer you to the dealer but really you’re on your own for parts and repairs.
I have three Outback feeders that work as designed. They’re 13 years old and have always served well but this feeder misses the mark by a very high margin. I’d NEVER buy this product again.
Feeders need to be dependable and this unit is not.
This is my first experience with Ripping It Outdoors. Fortunately I got Dillion as a representative and everything from sales to shipping was spot on..
Thanks Dillion for your help!!
The only thing is when hooking up the actuator on my ATV. The wire is long going to the plug in. What has happened in the past about this. Is their video showing the usage of the control?
I had a guy from a shop come cut the shafts and hook me up. It went well. I've been using the mulcher and the tractor saw on my two tractors and having fun.
i love it, i'm a little inexperianced with it but i'll learn, i've never messed with chemicals much.
instead of putting it on an atv, i put it on a skid steer
We bought a 6' G3 last year and it worked well. We were missing the handle for seed adjuster on 1st one and they next day aired it. Just ordered an 8 ' model to go with it. Dillon is great to work with. Hope this one works out as well.
