DESCRIPTION
Protect your young trees and seedlings from browsing animals and harsh environmental conditions with these 4” x 18” Rigid Seedling Protector Tubes. Made from UV-inhibited polyethylene and polypropylene, these diamond mesh tubes are designed to last up to five years in the field—slowly photodegrading as your seedlings mature. Ideal for forestry, reforestation, and conservation planting, these tubes provide a breathable, flexible barrier that promotes healthy vertical growth while deterring nibbling wildlife.
For best results, install at the time of planting and allow 10–12 inches of tube to extend above the seedling for future growth protection. Optional bamboo stakes are recommended for added support (sold separately).
