The Rammy Flail Mower 120 is a front mount mower for cutting grass, hay, and brush up to 3/4″ diameter. It attaches to almost any ATV using a center mounted snowplow mount bracket.
To adjust the height of the Rammy, you move the rear roller and front casters on the mower. This allows you to adjust the height between 3/4″ and 4″ but additional adjustment is possible via the winch on your ATV.
IMPORTANT: Mounting varies based on brand and model of ATV/UTV and the mounting bracket used on your machine. We cannot guarantee that the Rammy will mount without needing to make modifications to your ATV/UTV’s mounting bracket or front panel.
The Rammy Flail Mower mounts to your ATV/UTV using a snowplow mount bracket. You also need a winch to raise and lower the Rammy. The Rammy subframe (included with the Rammy) connects to the snowplow mount bracket with 10 mm pins. Make sure these pins fit properly when mounting the Rammy. If they are loose fitting, it can cause damage to the subframe during use.
If your machine has mounting posts that are .625-.75 inches (16-19 mm) in diameter, you have the option of using the Rammy Lock Hook Set.
For machines with light suspensions, you can tighten your front springs (if adjustable), as well as your front tire pressures, to help alleviate the extra weight on the suspension. You may also benefit from having heavy-duty springs or spring inserts installed. We always recommend using about 100 lb of ballast weight on the rear rack of your ATV, to offset the added weight of the Rammy.
The Rammy’s standard mounting system uses two 10 mm pins, which connect the subframe / push tubes to the mounting bracket on your ATV/UTV. These need to be used with a 10 mm clearance pinhole on the mounting bracket. Using these pins in a hole that is not designed for 10 mm pins (i.e. too large, or too small), can and will cause damage to the subframe. This may lead to further damage to the Rammy and/or your ATV/UTV.
If your bracket/mounting system is not compatible with the 10 mm pins, the Rammy Lock Hook set is an alternative option for mounting.
Rammy mowers are manufactured in Finland and are made with quality and efficiency in mind. As a front mount ATV flail mower, you don’t flatten the grass, or brush, before mowing. This gives you a better and more consistent cut.
We also offer theRammy ATV Lawn Mowerand theRammy ATV Brush Cutter, which are designed to handle different jobs.
Metsa Machines does not carry spare parts for engines. Briggs & Stratton warranty and repair work would be handled by your local Briggs & Stratton service center.

I've started using the mulcher I on several parcels of land 10 acres . I have grind down a couple of 14 inch stumps. Caution the mount bracket behind the mulcher motor exhaust gets extremely hot even with gloves on . But the unit so far seems to works very good it's well put together.
The Firminator G3 is s heavy duty quality machine. The discs worked extremely well and planting and culti-packing is very smooth and easy. Working with Dillon at Ripping It Outdoors was a very good experience and seamless transaction.
After spending way to much money for forest mulching services I discovered this wonderful machine. It's not a giant powerhouse forest mulcher, but it does everything a property owner needs to maintain a forested property. I wish I would have found it sooner.
The Firminator is well built and functions well. I am having some trouble while planting mixed size seeds. Next time out I’ll try setting it so only the smaller seeds drop out the open it up for the larger seeds.
easy buying process and great communication. Mulcher works great, easily clears overgrown brush and even mulched a 5" thick mulberry tree fairly easily. running it off of my old 331 bobcat with no problem powering the drum at all. Only small issue which isn't a big deal is that the supplied hoses are about 16" too short to operate a full range of motion.
Over all built well. I like it is all cast iron and metal and not plastic. Had to modify fertilizer disc mount to fit correctly, nothing major, a little grinding. I modified the center link hitch point to accommodate my John Deere quick hitch. Have yet to plant with it but I’m sure it will work perfect. Love the grease fittings everywhere. Reminds me of the old farm equipment I grew up on, and still use periodically.
My firminator RT was delivered in good condition in ND. I will be using it next week. I have a 45 HP John Deere tractor that is supposed to lift 2000 lb but really struggles to lift this 6 foot firminator RT. I will just have to use in as a two pass operation for now.
I do wish there was a better operating manual for this unit. Maybe that is something you can work on.
I will give you an update once I start using it in a few days.
Great piece of equipment. Performs far better than I expected. One piece of advice - if property is significantly overgrown, consider the tractor attachment first to bring down the over growth and then switch to the UTV attachment to maintain property. No complaints worked perfectly.
Put this on Kubota 900 with winch hookup. This thing is a beast (within reason). I named it ‘Homie”, cause Homie don’t play. It will take care of stuff up to about 2” in diameter. You still have to remember that this is NOT like the ones on a bobcat or larger machinery. It does have its limits. But all in all I am very satisfied with it. Now on to the good part! The staff at Ripping It are outstanding! Especially Kayla in the office. She has gone above and beyond on making sure everything went right, from ordering to questions about installation. This young lady would be of great value at ANY company ! Her knowledge and personality are like over the top. This is my first experience with Ripping It Outdoors and I can only say positive things about them. With all that being said, I do fill out reviews on things I buy, AND I give a honest review. If it’s bad then you will know it. But if it’s good, well I tell the truth ! Again Kayla, from the bottom of my heart, a great big THANK YOU for all your help and just talking to you. I feel like we’ve know each other for years!
TENT is easy to put up , material is tuff as told....only complaint is that i wish the bottom had about 3 to 4 inches overlap towards the inside so i could install a 2 x4 or something to help hold the tent down in high winds we have here in virginia thanks
Hi, my name is Ken. I’ve had a great experience with Ripping It Outdoors. I purchased a Forax Hp40 Mulcher for my mini excavator. Kayla Patterson is who I dealt with from the beginning until I received it at my house. She has been wonderful to work with and looking forward to working with her with any other orders I purchase. Kayla answered any questions I had and kept me updated throughout the whole process, can’t say it enough just a wonderful person to work with!!
These are great feeders if you don’t have any feral hogs but if the hogs tear off the wiring harness from the timer to the feeder motor, you’re disabled. Then, if you ask for help from Outback, they refer you to the dealer but really you’re on your own for parts and repairs.
I have three Outback feeders that work as designed. They’re 13 years old and have always served well but this feeder misses the mark by a very high margin. I’d NEVER buy this product again.
Feeders need to be dependable and this unit is not.
This is my first experience with Ripping It Outdoors. Fortunately I got Dillion as a representative and everything from sales to shipping was spot on..
Thanks Dillion for your help!!
The only thing is when hooking up the actuator on my ATV. The wire is long going to the plug in. What has happened in the past about this. Is their video showing the usage of the control?
I had a guy from a shop come cut the shafts and hook me up. It went well. I've been using the mulcher and the tractor saw on my two tractors and having fun.
