DESCRIPTION
The DRF – DOUBLE BARREL LEAF REMOVER is engineered to meet the needs of modern vineyards by efficiently removing leaves from the grape zone, which enhances maturation and aeration while reducing the need for chemical sprays. This machine features two opposite rollers—one with holes and the other made of rubber—ensuring safe leaf removal without damaging the grapes. A stainless steel shield follows the vine wall, ensuring precise and safe trimming.
This model is mounted on the TOWER-2 FRAME, which allows the application of two DRF heads, enabling the machine to defoliate both sides of the same row simultaneously, increasing productivity. The machine can also be equipped with an optional double blade cutter bar, placed in front of the head, to cut branches outside the wires, preventing blockages in the rollers. With electro-hydraulic joystick 7+1 control, the operator has full control of the machine’s operations, making it easier to adapt to different vineyard conditions.
