Key Features
Engineered for 5–7 ton mini excavators, the Seppi H3 85 flail mower is perfectly balanced for compact machines, delivering optimal performance without overloading your boom or hydraulics.
Features a 33-inch working width, making it ideal for clearing narrow paths, ditches, and tight-access green spaces in a single efficient pass.
Built with a high-tensile AR400 steel chassis, offering exceptional wear resistance in harsh terrain and extended machine life for professional operators.
Compatible with hydraulic flow rates from 9–18 GPM, supporting a broad range of excavators while maintaining powerful mulching output.
Equipped with a triple helical rotor and SMW flails, designed to mulch grass, light brush, and woody vegetation up to 3 cm (1 inch) in diameter with reduced vibration and smoother operation.
Integrated mechanical FLOAT system allows the mulcher to follow uneven terrain, ensuring a consistent cutting height and cleaner finish on slopes and embankments.
Standard 3-belt V-drive transmission ensures reliable power transfer while protecting critical components from overload.
Features a universal mounting interface, allowing easy adaptation to most excavator brands; optional interface plates are available for specific OEM compatibility.
The adjustable 5" support roller improves ground contact stability, prolongs flail life, and lets operators fine-tune the cutting height in the field.
Front chain protection and rear rubber safety flap minimize debris ejection for increased safety during roadside or public space maintenance.
Lightweight design at 181 kg (400 lbs) reduces overall stress on the excavator arm, extending the life of your equipment while improving fuel efficiency.
Customizable with gear or variable displacement hydraulic motors, giving you control over flow compatibility, pressure tolerance, and performance tuning.
Optional Y blades or Y blades on shackles available for operators seeking alternative cutting profiles for varied vegetation types.
Ideal for municipalities, landscapers, contractors, and farmers maintaining canal banks, fencelines, rights-of-way, and overgrown lots.
Built by SEPPI M., a global leader in vegetation control technology, ensuring world-class engineering, serviceability, and long-term reliability.

I've started using the mulcher I on several parcels of land 10 acres . I have grind down a couple of 14 inch stumps. Caution the mount bracket behind the mulcher motor exhaust gets extremely hot even with gloves on . But the unit so far seems to works very good it's well put together.
The Firminator G3 is s heavy duty quality machine. The discs worked extremely well and planting and culti-packing is very smooth and easy. Working with Dillon at Ripping It Outdoors was a very good experience and seamless transaction.
After spending way to much money for forest mulching services I discovered this wonderful machine. It's not a giant powerhouse forest mulcher, but it does everything a property owner needs to maintain a forested property. I wish I would have found it sooner.
The Firminator is well built and functions well. I am having some trouble while planting mixed size seeds. Next time out I’ll try setting it so only the smaller seeds drop out the open it up for the larger seeds.
easy buying process and great communication. Mulcher works great, easily clears overgrown brush and even mulched a 5" thick mulberry tree fairly easily. running it off of my old 331 bobcat with no problem powering the drum at all. Only small issue which isn't a big deal is that the supplied hoses are about 16" too short to operate a full range of motion.
Over all built well. I like it is all cast iron and metal and not plastic. Had to modify fertilizer disc mount to fit correctly, nothing major, a little grinding. I modified the center link hitch point to accommodate my John Deere quick hitch. Have yet to plant with it but I’m sure it will work perfect. Love the grease fittings everywhere. Reminds me of the old farm equipment I grew up on, and still use periodically.
My firminator RT was delivered in good condition in ND. I will be using it next week. I have a 45 HP John Deere tractor that is supposed to lift 2000 lb but really struggles to lift this 6 foot firminator RT. I will just have to use in as a two pass operation for now.
I do wish there was a better operating manual for this unit. Maybe that is something you can work on.
I will give you an update once I start using it in a few days.
Great piece of equipment. Performs far better than I expected. One piece of advice - if property is significantly overgrown, consider the tractor attachment first to bring down the over growth and then switch to the UTV attachment to maintain property. No complaints worked perfectly.
TENT is easy to put up , material is tuff as told....only complaint is that i wish the bottom had about 3 to 4 inches overlap towards the inside so i could install a 2 x4 or something to help hold the tent down in high winds we have here in virginia thanks
Hi, my name is Ken. I’ve had a great experience with Ripping It Outdoors. I purchased a Forax Hp40 Mulcher for my mini excavator. Kayla Patterson is who I dealt with from the beginning until I received it at my house. She has been wonderful to work with and looking forward to working with her with any other orders I purchase. Kayla answered any questions I had and kept me updated throughout the whole process, can’t say it enough just a wonderful person to work with!!
These are great feeders if you don’t have any feral hogs but if the hogs tear off the wiring harness from the timer to the feeder motor, you’re disabled. Then, if you ask for help from Outback, they refer you to the dealer but really you’re on your own for parts and repairs.
I have three Outback feeders that work as designed. They’re 13 years old and have always served well but this feeder misses the mark by a very high margin. I’d NEVER buy this product again.
Feeders need to be dependable and this unit is not.
This is my first experience with Ripping It Outdoors. Fortunately I got Dillion as a representative and everything from sales to shipping was spot on..
Thanks Dillion for your help!!
The only thing is when hooking up the actuator on my ATV. The wire is long going to the plug in. What has happened in the past about this. Is their video showing the usage of the control?
I had a guy from a shop come cut the shafts and hook me up. It went well. I've been using the mulcher and the tractor saw on my two tractors and having fun.
