The AP70 Mk2 is a dedicated autopilot controller designed to meet the needs of professional mariners aboard a variety of commercial vessels.
Replacing both the AP70 and AP80 as our IMO/SOLAS autopilot controller, the AP70 Mk2 retains much of the well-reputed platform of its predecessors, but with a brilliant new display and modernised software interface.
Engineered for responsiveness, robustness and ease of use, the AP70Mk2 pairs a precision rotary control dial with dedicated buttons for instant access to steering modes, several custom-configurable work modes and multiple rudder/thruster integration.
Wheelmarked for use on SOLAS vessels The AP70 Mk2 builds on, and continues the legacy of the SIMRAD Pro autopilot product portfolio. Its performance, robustness and quality are proven and recognised with the wheelmark symbol, making it suitable for all vessels ranging from small work- boats to large tankers.
Advanced configuration and tuning options to suit all ships Parameters ranges and tuning options to support vessel dynamics. Adjustable for all weather conditions, hull types, work situations. Suitable for retro-fit on old ships as well as modern new-builds.
Compatible with all common rudder/drive types Water jet, Azi-pods, Voith-Schneider, Rudder, outboard. Control signals to control, hydraulic pumps, solenoids, analog current/voltage, control/handshake signals.
Up to 6 rudders/thrusters integration Dual rudders, fore and aft thrusters supports large and complex installations and redundancy.
Heavy-duty rudder feedback support Simrad heavy-duty rudder feedbacks are supported.
Configurable Work Mode and Low/High Speed Modes Autopilot settings can be tuned for optimal performance in separate low-speed, high-speed, and Work modes. The user-configurable Work mode allows the autopilot system to be configured for optimal response in a specific situation, such as a fully laden vessel, configurable thruster usage.
No Drift Steering No Drift mode integrates GPS navigation with auto-steering, using position data to counteract the effects of wind and tide. This allows the AP70 Mk2 to maintain a straight track over ground on the current course, without the need to manually set a waypoint or route.
Navigation steering, route following Navigation steering controls the ship on a pre-planned route from a Simrad MFD, Simrad ECDIS or third party MFD and ECDIS.
Command transfer and multiple control stations support Command transfer is a mechanism useful in multi-controller installations. It enables the officer on watch to allow, deny the transfer of autopilot control to control devices such as a secondary AP70 Mk2 or a remote controller on a bridge wing station, above deck, or aft bridge depending on the work scenario. The AP70 Mk2 can also be used in an open configuration, where control flow is unrestricted.

I've started using the mulcher I on several parcels of land 10 acres . I have grind down a couple of 14 inch stumps. Caution the mount bracket behind the mulcher motor exhaust gets extremely hot even with gloves on . But the unit so far seems to works very good it's well put together.
The Firminator G3 is s heavy duty quality machine. The discs worked extremely well and planting and culti-packing is very smooth and easy. Working with Dillon at Ripping It Outdoors was a very good experience and seamless transaction.
The week before leaving for my mule deer hunt in Wyoming, I seeded the area surrounding the new runway at Wertheimer Airport in Norman.
This past Tuesday, I returned to finish the job and was pleased to see that the seed I planted just two weeks earlier was already germinating and coming up nicely.
These pictures show the freshly seeded areas alongside those planted two weeks ago. It’s a great comparison and a good example of what proper seedbed preparation and planting can accomplish.
I used my Ferminator G-3, which is one impressive piece of equipment. It prepares the seedbed, plants the seed, smooths the soil, and firms everything up for good seed-to-soil contact—all in one efficient operation.
I’ve owned and operated several no-till drills over the years, but I can say without hesitation that the Ferminator is the most efficient and versatile seeding machine I’ve ever owned.
There’s something pretty satisfying about returning to a job and seeing those first green shoots coming through the ground. That’s when you know your hard work is paying off!
Just got my Buffalo Turbine! Love it. Took a little bit to get used to getting the right angle for the nozzle, but not a problem. Side note, works much better if the frame is level as much as possible.
Love it!

Seems to be in order delivery wasn't able to use lift gate but tractor was able to take pallet off the truck bed. No damage to machine after visual check. won't know how it runs until rain stops.
Staff at RippingitOutdoors was very quick to call and double check the type of backet needed for the unit to ensure the online order matched( to fit my skid steer quick attachment on my l2501 Kubota). Explained the teeth & belt could be ordered through them directly over the phone when/if needed as well as selling other types of custom made brackets for Utv's ect. All around Great customer service and would purchase from again.
After spending way to much money for forest mulching services I discovered this wonderful machine. It's not a giant powerhouse forest mulcher, but it does everything a property owner needs to maintain a forested property. I wish I would have found it sooner.
The Firminator is well built and functions well. I am having some trouble while planting mixed size seeds. Next time out I’ll try setting it so only the smaller seeds drop out the open it up for the larger seeds.
easy buying process and great communication. Mulcher works great, easily clears overgrown brush and even mulched a 5" thick mulberry tree fairly easily. running it off of my old 331 bobcat with no problem powering the drum at all. Only small issue which isn't a big deal is that the supplied hoses are about 16" too short to operate a full range of motion.
Over all built well. I like it is all cast iron and metal and not plastic. Had to modify fertilizer disc mount to fit correctly, nothing major, a little grinding. I modified the center link hitch point to accommodate my John Deere quick hitch. Have yet to plant with it but I’m sure it will work perfect. Love the grease fittings everywhere. Reminds me of the old farm equipment I grew up on, and still use periodically.
My firminator RT was delivered in good condition in ND. I will be using it next week. I have a 45 HP John Deere tractor that is supposed to lift 2000 lb but really struggles to lift this 6 foot firminator RT. I will just have to use in as a two pass operation for now.
I do wish there was a better operating manual for this unit. Maybe that is something you can work on.
I will give you an update once I start using it in a few days.
Great piece of equipment. Performs far better than I expected. One piece of advice - if property is significantly overgrown, consider the tractor attachment first to bring down the over growth and then switch to the UTV attachment to maintain property. No complaints worked perfectly.
seeds come out way to fast at lowest setting when planting alfalfa literally the only reason I bought it now I can't even use it and I can't return it so I'm stuck with it for the price you pay you would think it would work!
It’s built solid. It handles Field grass hip high pretty well. With the maintaining the field grass after the first cut, the pasture field is starting to look like a lawn. The 84 inch with the best thing to get for 8 acres. It’s best to order belts for back up in the event if the belts were to break. But overall, I like the product quality is good.
When I think of ripping it outdoors something else comes to mind, but I digress. This spreader is awesome. Works like a champ. The hopper is big enough to do my 1 acre lot for my applications. Just load once and go. I would highly recommend this spreader. It saves a ton of time and is a quality product.
