The HS-750-XPW, is a 750 Gallon, skid type hydroseeder. It will seed 1/4th acre per load. It is equipped with an 19 HP Kohler Command Pro electric start engine that is directly coupled to a 4″ X 4″, 640 G. P. M. high volume centrifugal pump. This pump was designed specifically for hydroseeding. The unit comes with 100′ of 1 1/4″ discharge hose, gun and 3 nozzles ( 1 wide hydro seeding nozzle, 1 medium nozzle and one straight nozzle). The Jet “Bale Buster” is standard on this unit. The empty weight of the unit is 1050 pounds. the loaded weight is 7100 pounds. the physical dimensions are 75″W x 120″L x 70″H. The size of the skid frame on this unit is 48″W x 115″L. This unit can be mounted on the back of a truck with sufficient load capacity or it can also be easily operated from a trailer.
The HS-750-XPW is an ideal hydroseeder for a landscaper doing residential and commercial seeding with average jobs of more than 10,000 square feet. On large jobs up to 3 acres can be seeded per day with a good water source. It is capable of handling much smaller jobs, but if the average job is larger, a bigger machine should be considered. Material is applied at approximately 50 G.P.M. Time to spray a complete tank is about 15 minutes. Mixing time is 1-20 minutes depending on material. This unit comes with 100′ of discharge hose. It will easily handle an extra 100′ of hose. The spray distance with the straight nozzle is approximately 55′. The spray distance with an Area/Volume kit or 2″ cannon is 75′.
The HS-750-XPW features a 4″ X 4″ 640 gallon per minute pump, 63 P.S.I. pump. The 2″ I.D. jets equipped with a quick coupler for easy service in the unlikely event of a problem, a quick disconnect for the discharge hose, and a bale tray for easy loading.
Typically materials used in one load would be 4 to 5 bales of hydro seeding mulch, the appropriate amount of seed for 11,000 sq. ft. (any seed will work in hydro seeding), and the appropriate fertilizer for 11,000 square feet (liquid, water soluble, or granular)
Like all TURBO TURF systems the HS-750-XPW, comes equipped with a long life poly tank that can never rust, the ability to mix partial loads, a simple but powerful design with few moving parts, continuous agitation, and the ability to control the flow at the gun without making adjustments at the unit. Prices quoted are a complete machine ready to operate. Trailers shown in the photo’s are optional.
Turbo Turf’s Hydro Seeding Systems have larger jets than most competitive units allowing them to will mix faster. Operators have full control of the flow which allows quicker mixing, more control when trimming and greater reach on hillsides.

PUMP
This unit uses a TP4VE centrifugal pump with 662 gallons a minute of flow and 50 P.S.I. of pressure. This pump was designed specifically for hydro seeding. This pump is very low maintenance. There are no grease fittings and the only maintenance required is to winterize if at the end of the season if it is stored where temperatures go below freezing. The pump impeller mounts on the end of the engine shaft so there is no power loss. Typically it can operate for 5 to 10 years with no maintenance. The only thing to be careful of is to not run it dry.
ENGINE
This unit comes with a 16 H.P. Vanguard Briggs & Stratton engine. This has proved to be a very reliable engine with a long life. The engine has a two year warranty and service for the engine is available at any authorized Briggs & Stratton engine dealer. This unit has a self contained fuel tank.
HOSE
This unit comes standard with 100 ft of 1 1/4″ I. D. hose. The hose we use is both strong and light weight. It is made from a poly material with a spiral reinforcement. Additional hose is available in 50 feet or 100 feet sections. The unit will handle up to 200 feet of hose.
BALE BUSTER
This unit comes equipped with a bale buster to speed loading. The bale buster allows you to add mulch in larger chunks and will quickly break them up. Dry mulch floats on top of the water. The bale buster takes the full flow of the pump and blows it across the top of the water picking up those chunks of mulch and smashing them against the back of the tank. Users can add mulch in chunks any size that will fit through the 16″ opening.
TRAILER
The HS-750-P is permanently attached to a DOT approved double axle trailer with brakes on both axles, DOT lighting, a breakaway, safety chains and an on-board test box for the breakaway battery. The trailer has a GVW of 9990 pounds and is 15’8″ long an 88″ wide. It is available with either a 2 5/16″ ball hitch or a pintle hitch.

Customer Reviews
Overall rating: 4.6 / 5 from 99 reviews.
I've started using the mulcher I on several parcels of land 10 acres . I have grind down a couple of 14 inch stumps. Caution the mount bracket behind the mulcher motor exhaust gets extremely hot even with gloves on . But the unit so far seems to works very good it's well put together.
The Firminator G3 is s heavy duty quality machine. The discs worked extremely well and planting and culti-packing is very smooth and easy. Working with Dillon at Ripping It Outdoors was a very good experience and seamless transaction.
Just got my Buffalo Turbine! Love it. Took a little bit to get used to getting the right angle for the nozzle, but not a problem. Side note, works much better if the frame is level as much as possible.
Love it!

Seems to be in order delivery wasn't able to use lift gate but tractor was able to take pallet off the truck bed. No damage to machine after visual check. won't know how it runs until rain stops.
Staff at RippingitOutdoors was very quick to call and double check the type of backet needed for the unit to ensure the online order matched( to fit my skid steer quick attachment on my l2501 Kubota). Explained the teeth & belt could be ordered through them directly over the phone when/if needed as well as selling other types of custom made brackets for Utv's ect. All around Great customer service and would purchase from again.
After spending way to much money for forest mulching services I discovered this wonderful machine. It's not a giant powerhouse forest mulcher, but it does everything a property owner needs to maintain a forested property. I wish I would have found it sooner.
The Firminator is well built and functions well. I am having some trouble while planting mixed size seeds. Next time out I’ll try setting it so only the smaller seeds drop out the open it up for the larger seeds.
easy buying process and great communication. Mulcher works great, easily clears overgrown brush and even mulched a 5" thick mulberry tree fairly easily. running it off of my old 331 bobcat with no problem powering the drum at all. Only small issue which isn't a big deal is that the supplied hoses are about 16" too short to operate a full range of motion.
Over all built well. I like it is all cast iron and metal and not plastic. Had to modify fertilizer disc mount to fit correctly, nothing major, a little grinding. I modified the center link hitch point to accommodate my John Deere quick hitch. Have yet to plant with it but I’m sure it will work perfect. Love the grease fittings everywhere. Reminds me of the old farm equipment I grew up on, and still use periodically.
My firminator RT was delivered in good condition in ND. I will be using it next week. I have a 45 HP John Deere tractor that is supposed to lift 2000 lb but really struggles to lift this 6 foot firminator RT. I will just have to use in as a two pass operation for now.
I do wish there was a better operating manual for this unit. Maybe that is something you can work on.
I will give you an update once I start using it in a few days.
Great piece of equipment. Performs far better than I expected. One piece of advice - if property is significantly overgrown, consider the tractor attachment first to bring down the over growth and then switch to the UTV attachment to maintain property. No complaints worked perfectly.
Put this on Kubota 900 with winch hookup. This thing is a beast (within reason). I named it ‘Homie”, cause Homie don’t play. It will take care of stuff up to about 2” in diameter. You still have to remember that this is NOT like the ones on a bobcat or larger machinery. It does have its limits. But all in all I am very satisfied with it. Now on to the good part! The staff at Ripping It are outstanding! Especially Kayla in the office. She has gone above and beyond on making sure everything went right, from ordering to questions about installation. This young lady would be of great value at ANY company ! Her knowledge and personality are like over the top. This is my first experience with Ripping It Outdoors and I can only say positive things about them. With all that being said, I do fill out reviews on things I buy, AND I give a honest review. If it’s bad then you will know it. But if it’s good, well I tell the truth ! Again Kayla, from the bottom of my heart, a great big THANK YOU for all your help and just talking to you. I feel like we’ve know each other for years!
TENT is easy to put up , material is tuff as told....only complaint is that i wish the bottom had about 3 to 4 inches overlap towards the inside so i could install a 2 x4 or something to help hold the tent down in high winds we have here in virginia thanks
Hi, my name is Ken. I’ve had a great experience with Ripping It Outdoors. I purchased a Forax Hp40 Mulcher for my mini excavator. Kayla Patterson is who I dealt with from the beginning until I received it at my house. She has been wonderful to work with and looking forward to working with her with any other orders I purchase. Kayla answered any questions I had and kept me updated throughout the whole process, can’t say it enough just a wonderful person to work with!!
These are great feeders if you don’t have any feral hogs but if the hogs tear off the wiring harness from the timer to the feeder motor, you’re disabled. Then, if you ask for help from Outback, they refer you to the dealer but really you’re on your own for parts and repairs.
I have three Outback feeders that work as designed. They’re 13 years old and have always served well but this feeder misses the mark by a very high margin. I’d NEVER buy this product again.
Feeders need to be dependable and this unit is not.
This is my first experience with Ripping It Outdoors. Fortunately I got Dillion as a representative and everything from sales to shipping was spot on..
Thanks Dillion for your help!!
