With boat owners in mind, this adaptive 5-step charger can provide either 30A or 50A of charge to each of the three battery banks. Or the Phoenix 1+1 model provides 3A to the starter battery, the rest to the ‘house’ bank. 24V models are available with a 16A/25A charge. Bluetooth enabled, you can monitor the charger and set alarms straight from your phone.

Features:

  • Bluetooth Smart built-in: The wireless solution to set up, monitor, update and synchronize Phoenix Smart IP43 Chargers.
  • Phoenix Smart (1+1): two outputs to charge 2 battery banks: The second output, limited to approximately 4A and with a slightly lower output voltage, is intended to top up a starter battery.
  • Phoenix Smart (3): three full current outputs to charge 3 battery banks: Each output can supply the full rated output current. But the total of the 3 outputs combined can never exceed the current rating of the charger.
  • Automatic voltage compensation: The charger compensates for voltage drop over the DC cabling by slightly increasing output voltage when the DC current increases. 
  • Adaptive 6-stage charge algorithm: bulk– absorption – recondition – float – storage – refresh: The Phoenix Smart Charger features our well-known ‘adaptive’ battery management system that can be preset to suit different types of batteries. The ‘adaptive’ feature will automatically optimize the charging process relative to the way the battery is being used.
  • The right amount of charge: variable absorption time: When only shallow discharges occur (a yacht connected to shore power for example) the absorption time is kept short in order to prevent overcharging of the battery. After a deep discharge, the absorption time is automatically increased to make sure that the battery will be fully charged.
  • Preventing damage due to excessive gassing: the BatterySafe mode: If in order to quickly charge a battery, a high charge current in combination with a high absorption voltage has been chosen, the charger will prevent damage due to excessive gassing by automatically limiting the rate of voltage increase once the gassing voltage has been reached.
  • Less maintenance and aging when the battery is not in use: the Storage Mode: The Storage Mode kicks in whenever the battery has not been subjected to discharge for 24 hours. In the Storage Mode, float voltage is reduced to 2,2 V/cell (13,2 V for a 12 V battery) to minimize gassing and corrosion of the positive plates. Once a week the voltage is raised back to the absorption level to ‘equalize’ the battery. This feature prevents stratification of the electrolyte and sulphation, a major cause of early battery failure.
  • Also charges Li-ion (LiFePO4) batteries: Charger on-off control can be implemented by connecting a relay or open collector optocoupler output from a Li-ion BMS to the remote on-off port. Alternatively, full control of voltage and current can be achieved with Bluetooth.
  • Fully programmable charge algorithm: The charge algorithm can be programmed with help of Bluetooth or the VE.Direct interface. Three preprogrammed algorithms can be selected with the mode button.
  • Optional external battery voltage and temperature sensing via Bluetooth: A Smart Battery Sense or a BMV-712 Smart Battery Monitor can be used to communicate battery voltage and temperature to one or more Phoenix Smart IP43 Chargers.
  • Remote on-off: The remote on/off consists of two terminals: Remote H and Remote L. A remote on/off switch or relay contact can be connected between H and L. Alternatively, terminal H can be pulled high, or terminal L can be pulled low. 
  • VE.Direct interface: For a wired data connection to a Color Control panel, PC, or other devices.
  • Programmable relay: Can be programmed using the VE.Direct interface or a Bluetooth-enabled device to trip on an alarm or other events.
  • Synchronized charging: Pairing two or more Phoenix Smart IP43 Chargers in a VE.Smart Network, enables synchronized charging. This improves the charge efficiency and battery life.

The week before leaving for my mule deer hunt in Wyoming, I seeded the area surrounding the new runway at Wertheimer Airport in Norman. This past Tuesday, I returned to finish the job and was pleased to see that the seed I planted just two weeks earlier was already germinating and coming up nicely. These pictures show the freshly seeded areas alongside those planted two weeks ago. It’s a great comparison and a good example of what proper seedbed preparation and planting can accomplish. I used my Ferminator G-3, which is one impressive piece of equipment. It prepares the seedbed, plants the seed, smooths the soil, and firms everything up for good seed-to-soil contact—all in one efficient operation. I’ve owned and operated several no-till drills over the years, but I can say without hesitation that the Ferminator is the most efficient and versatile seeding machine I’ve ever owned. There’s something pretty satisfying about returning to a job and seeing those first green shoots coming through the ground. That’s when you know your hard work is paying off!

Seems to be in order delivery wasn't able to use lift gate but tractor was able to take pallet off the truck bed. No damage to machine after visual check. won't know how it runs until rain stops. Staff at RippingitOutdoors was very quick to call and double check the type of backet needed for the unit to ensure the online order matched( to fit my skid steer quick attachment on my l2501 Kubota). Explained the teeth & belt could be ordered through them directly over the phone when/if needed as well as selling other types of custom made brackets for Utv's ect. All around Great customer service and would purchase from again.

easy buying process and great communication. Mulcher works great, easily clears overgrown brush and even mulched a 5" thick mulberry tree fairly easily. running it off of my old 331 bobcat with no problem powering the drum at all. Only small issue which isn't a big deal is that the supplied hoses are about 16" too short to operate a full range of motion.

Over all built well. I like it is all cast iron and metal and not plastic. Had to modify fertilizer disc mount to fit correctly, nothing major, a little grinding. I modified the center link hitch point to accommodate my John Deere quick hitch. Have yet to plant with it but I’m sure it will work perfect. Love the grease fittings everywhere. Reminds me of the old farm equipment I grew up on, and still use periodically.

My firminator RT was delivered in good condition in ND. I will be using it next week. I have a 45 HP John Deere tractor that is supposed to lift 2000 lb but really struggles to lift this 6 foot firminator RT. I will just have to use in as a two pass operation for now. I do wish there was a better operating manual for this unit. Maybe that is something you can work on. I will give you an update once I start using it in a few days.

It’s built solid. It handles Field grass hip high pretty well. With the maintaining the field grass after the first cut, the pasture field is starting to look like a lawn. The 84 inch with the best thing to get for 8 acres. It’s best to order belts for back up in the event if the belts were to break. But overall, I like the product quality is good.

When I think of ripping it outdoors something else comes to mind, but I digress. This spreader is awesome. Works like a champ. The hopper is big enough to do my 1 acre lot for my applications.
