Product Description
Werk-Brau D-Lock Variable Center Hydraulic Coupler | Multi-Pin | 1–40 Tons | For Excavator
DESCRIPTION
The Werk-Brau D-Lock Variable Center Hydraulic Coupler is engineered for fast, secure, and versatile attachment changes across a wide range of excavators. Its compact design uses only nine moving parts, requires just two hydraulic hoses, and operates without routine greasing, helping reduce maintenance and downtime. The dual-pin locking system keeps attachments securely engaged even if engagement force is lost, while the automatic front lock provides an additional layer of operator safety. Its multi-pin center design allows one coupler to accommodate multiple attachments within the same machine weight class and compatible pin diameter. Available across multiple excavator classes from compact machines through 40-ton machines, the D-Lock combines productivity, attachment flexibility, and dependable hydraulic coupling performance for demanding construction, utility, excavation, and earthmoving applications.
Key Features
Dual-Pin Locking System The D-Lock uses a dual-pin hydraulic locking system designed to keep the attachment securely engaged on both pins if engagement force is lost, adding an important safety layer during demanding excavator operations.
Multi-Pin Center Compatibility The variable multi-pin center allows compatible attachments within the same machine weight class and pin diameter range to be picked up with greater flexibility, helping reduce attachment-change limitations.
Compact Coupler Design The compact hydraulic coupler is engineered with only nine moving parts, helping simplify the mechanism while supporting efficient attachment changes and reliable excavator performance.
Two Hydraulic Hoses The two-hose hydraulic system simplifies installation and operation compared with more complex coupling arrangements, helping operators change compatible attachments efficiently while keeping hydraulic connections straightforward.
Grease-Free Operation The grease-free coupler design eliminates routine greasing requirements for the coupling mechanism, helping reduce scheduled maintenance tasks and keeping the attachment-change system easier to service.
Automatic Front Lock The automatic front locking feature secures the front pin when the rear pin is not properly secured, providing an additional safety mechanism during attachment connection and helping prevent unintended release.
Visible Lock Indicator The high-visibility lock indicator provides quick visual feedback to the operator regarding coupler engagement, supporting easier attachment verification before returning the excavator to work.
Controlled Unlock Process The controlled hydraulic unlock process is designed to help prevent accidental attachment releases, providing a deliberate operating sequence for safer and more controlled attachment changes.
Wide Excavator Compatibility The excavator coupler range covers multiple machine classes and configurations, with published options extending from compact excavator classes through 40-ton machine class applications.
Multiple Pin Diameters The variable pin configuration supports different pin diameter arrangements across models, including published options from 35 mm through 120 mm, allowing selection based on the excavator and attachment interface.
Adjustable Pin Spread Range The variable pin spread provides different pickup ranges depending on coupler model, supporting attachment compatibility across numerous excavator configurations and attachment mounting dimensions.
Heavy-Duty Construction The heavy-duty hydraulic coupler is offered in multiple machine-class configurations with published coupler weights ranging from approximately 130 lb to 1,930 lb, supporting applications from compact to large excavators.
Attachment Change Efficiency The quick attachment changing system is designed to reduce time spent switching between compatible excavator attachments, helping operators maintain productivity across changing jobsite tasks.
Maintenance-Friendly Design The serviceable coupler mechanism combines a relatively simple design with no routine greasing requirement, helping simplify ownership and maintenance procedures for demanding construction fleets.
Built for Multiple Applications The variable-center excavator coupler is suited to equipment fleets requiring flexible attachment utilization across construction, excavation, utility, earthmoving, and other compatible applications.

Overall rating: 4.6 / 5 from 94 reviews.
I've started using the mulcher I on several parcels of land 10 acres . I have grind down a couple of 14 inch stumps. Caution the mount bracket behind the mulcher motor exhaust gets extremely hot even with gloves on . But the unit so far seems to works very good it's well put together.
The Firminator G3 is s heavy duty quality machine. The discs worked extremely well and planting and culti-packing is very smooth and easy. Working with Dillon at Ripping It Outdoors was a very good experience and seamless transaction.
After spending way to much money for forest mulching services I discovered this wonderful machine. It's not a giant powerhouse forest mulcher, but it does everything a property owner needs to maintain a forested property. I wish I would have found it sooner.
The Firminator is well built and functions well. I am having some trouble while planting mixed size seeds. Next time out I’ll try setting it so only the smaller seeds drop out the open it up for the larger seeds.
easy buying process and great communication. Mulcher works great, easily clears overgrown brush and even mulched a 5" thick mulberry tree fairly easily. running it off of my old 331 bobcat with no problem powering the drum at all. Only small issue which isn't a big deal is that the supplied hoses are about 16" too short to operate a full range of motion.
Over all built well. I like it is all cast iron and metal and not plastic. Had to modify fertilizer disc mount to fit correctly, nothing major, a little grinding. I modified the center link hitch point to accommodate my John Deere quick hitch. Have yet to plant with it but I’m sure it will work perfect. Love the grease fittings everywhere. Reminds me of the old farm equipment I grew up on, and still use periodically.
My firminator RT was delivered in good condition in ND. I will be using it next week. I have a 45 HP John Deere tractor that is supposed to lift 2000 lb but really struggles to lift this 6 foot firminator RT. I will just have to use in as a two pass operation for now.
I do wish there was a better operating manual for this unit. Maybe that is something you can work on.
I will give you an update once I start using it in a few days.
Great piece of equipment. Performs far better than I expected. One piece of advice - if property is significantly overgrown, consider the tractor attachment first to bring down the over growth and then switch to the UTV attachment to maintain property. No complaints worked perfectly.
Put this on Kubota 900 with winch hookup. This thing is a beast (within reason). I named it ‘Homie”, cause Homie don’t play. It will take care of stuff up to about 2” in diameter. You still have to remember that this is NOT like the ones on a bobcat or larger machinery. It does have its limits. But all in all I am very satisfied with it. Now on to the good part! The staff at Ripping It are outstanding! Especially Kayla in the office. She has gone above and beyond on making sure everything went right, from ordering to questions about installation. This young lady would be of great value at ANY company ! Her knowledge and personality are like over the top. This is my first experience with Ripping It Outdoors and I can only say positive things about them. With all that being said, I do fill out reviews on things I buy, AND I give a honest review. If it’s bad then you will know it. But if it’s good, well I tell the truth ! Again Kayla, from the bottom of my heart, a great big THANK YOU for all your help and just talking to you. I feel like we’ve know each other for years!
TENT is easy to put up , material is tuff as told....only complaint is that i wish the bottom had about 3 to 4 inches overlap towards the inside so i could install a 2 x4 or something to help hold the tent down in high winds we have here in virginia thanks
Hi, my name is Ken. I’ve had a great experience with Ripping It Outdoors. I purchased a Forax Hp40 Mulcher for my mini excavator. Kayla Patterson is who I dealt with from the beginning until I received it at my house. She has been wonderful to work with and looking forward to working with her with any other orders I purchase. Kayla answered any questions I had and kept me updated throughout the whole process, can’t say it enough just a wonderful person to work with!!
These are great feeders if you don’t have any feral hogs but if the hogs tear off the wiring harness from the timer to the feeder motor, you’re disabled. Then, if you ask for help from Outback, they refer you to the dealer but really you’re on your own for parts and repairs.
I have three Outback feeders that work as designed. They’re 13 years old and have always served well but this feeder misses the mark by a very high margin. I’d NEVER buy this product again.
Feeders need to be dependable and this unit is not.
This is my first experience with Ripping It Outdoors. Fortunately I got Dillion as a representative and everything from sales to shipping was spot on..
Thanks Dillion for your help!!
The only thing is when hooking up the actuator on my ATV. The wire is long going to the plug in. What has happened in the past about this. Is their video showing the usage of the control?
