By using Sentera’s Incident Light Sensor, Sentera customers can more accurately compare images of the same area taken days or weeks apart, despite vastly different lighting conditions from image to image.

Readings in bright sun, hazy sun, or cloud cover on three separate occasions, and at different times of the day—none of that matters when the ILS adjusts readings for incident light.

These capabilities, integrated into Sentera’s Single Sensor, are now available to all Sentera customers in North America. Better data means better decision-making, and the ILS improves data accuracy.

Farmers, agronomists, crop consultants, and researchers will have a truer picture of the effect their decisions have on outcomes.

Sentera’s Incident Light Sensor enables consistent NDVI data collection, correcting for changes in lighting conditions.

The Incident Light Sensor is easily installed on a new or existing DJI Phantom 4 or 3 drone.

An Incident Light Sensor improves the accuracy of normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) data, correcting for cloud cover or other variations in lighting.
